Date a man from United States. OK, I'm back!
Onward, I retired from Govt. "public safety" in 04 and soon after obtained a "post retirement" proefssional license within a similar venue.
My greatest interest is anything outdoors, riding motorcycle and woodworking (built and designed my home, make log furniture as a hobby ). I am NO "Grizzly Adams", but I do appreciate what nature has to offer. I love to fish, hike with my Yellow Lab "Hunter", ski, snowmobile, bike, boat.
Like to travel, have been to Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica*, Nicaragua*, Puerto Vallerta* (*2012) Mazatlan (2011).
I enjoyed Para-sailing, Ziplining, ATV riding on an Island beach, deap sea fishing, bask in the sun at the beach-pool side with Margarita in hand!
Love leisurely rides on my motorcycle through local country roads and smelling all the fragrances of fields and forests along the way.
I enjoy evenings with friends around the backyard campfire, or lay in my hammock on a lazy summer day-evening-night (your welcome to come join me if you wish). Finish the evening off with a soak in the hot tub and if it's snowing, even better, if not, then watching the stars through the tall pines is equally satisfying!
I'am always busy doing something, not one to sit still, work hard, stay fit. Love to laugh, quick wit and above all, a great sense of humor. OK, are you ready for this confession? I RARELY if at all watch organized sports, BUT, I do still like hot dogs and apple pie!
I dont like to cook, but when I do, I am told I do it well.
During the summer, I live part time on 39 acres along the Sacramento River between Redding and Dunsmuir, it's my other retreat and enjoy much of the same things there as my real home, but with the added sounds of a cascading river. I have a great summer job that gives me lots of outdoor freedom and just having too much fun to "re-retire" yet!....I am in Redding several times a week during the summer.
I don't mind getting dirty when the task demands it, then shed my grubbies and head to the "Ritz".
Above all, I am a gentlemen who is compassionate, giving, loyal and respectful. I have been told I am a "protector" (go figure)
I have a bright, white smile, thick brown/blond hair (yes, I DO have all of it thank you AND my teeth DONT come out!!!) 6'-1", deep blue eyes. ODA is always welcomed and given. Told OFTEN my pictures don't do me justice (Not to sound conceited), just not a photogenic guy I guess)..
Seeking a lady who has a quick wit, smart, "sassy n classy". One who feels comfortable in jeans or gown AKA "Queen n Jeans", good looks, "carry-on" bagage only, sorry, no cargo space left for anything more than that....focusing on the future.......life always has challenges as well as opportunities. Would love to have someone sweep me off my feet, not "clingy" while respecting each others "space".....
