I realize we're all out there trying to set ourselves apart, but here in the Bay Area we are all culturally very similar. I donРІР‚в„ўt eat frozen yogurt. IРІР‚в„ўm an excellent parker, like really good. There are few spaces that defy me. I have a great sense of humor and I can usually make people laugh pretty easily. I get super angry when I see people drop litter. I pet dogs even if they are ugly and old. IРІР‚в„ўve eaten those tiny fried fish they serve at Korean BBQ places and I think they taste good. I donРІР‚в„ўt have a bunch of shampoos, conditioners, cleansers and scrubby mitts in my shower. I love, but do not have, little undisciplined dogs that pee in the house. I have a clean car. I'm not a big shopper. IРІР‚в„ўm not indecisive. I've camped on the ocean shores and in the canyons of Baja, Mexico. I've been on an African Safari. IРІР‚в„ўll go to a random music venues with you and listen to a band IРІР‚в„ўve never heard. I have a pretty awesome arm from years of softball playing. I do NOT admire the KardashianРІР‚в„ўs. I like yard work.

. I am a woman who has had a lot of interesting life experiences that have made me the kindhearted, caring, generous and intelligent person I am today. I'm from a big Irish family and I truly value my family and friends. I have a variety of talents and skills, but I'm always striving to improve both professionally and personally. At this point in my life, I feel I am definitely ready to settle down and start a family of my own, so I am looking for someone who is at a similar point in his life. . Somewhat cerebral, somewhat silly, sometimes funny, most of the times kind, and try to be careful not to hurt or offend others. To hear my family and friends talk about me to other people is humbling. I don't see myself as going out of my way to help people or always trying to do nice things for those around me, but apparently I do. However, I am no saint! Said family and friends will also say I am a mischievous pain in the butt sometimes because I'll prank them. I gladly admit that. :-) I try to focus on what's good in life and what makes me happy. I try to do what I can to help make the world a better, happier place. I like to be able to say that at the end of the day, I've made at least one person a little wiser, a little happier, or a little better. (I saw that on a sign somewhere...it's always been my approach to life).
I think many of us (with the exception of the scammers who ask for money for plane tickets back home from wherever they are) just want companionship with someone who is physically (or at least working on it), emotionally, and mentally healthy. I'd like to add that this someone ideally is employed, self-sufficient, and enjoys life. No one is perfect. We all say that and claim to know that, but do we really? I am always reminding myself of this and seek out the positives in people and situations instead of making assumptions based on a first glance. I mean, isn't the possibility of meeting someone special worth overlooking surface imperfections and finding out what's underneath? :-) That said, it still would be nice to have someone to come home to, or someone who'd come home to me, someone to kiss goodnight, someone to kiss good morning.

. So, I started this profile a few years ago and never finished, but here goes. I'm an ESL teacher in Santa Monica, working and just started a Masters program, so I'm busy. But, I love to relax and have fun whenever I can - which can range from outdoors-y stuff to cocktails, music, museums, etc. I like quiet nights at home and fun nights out too and like to keep things interesting and varied. I'm looking for someone with a good head on his shoulders but that has some spontaneity too, someone fun, interesting and kind.
