Date a soulmate from California, United States. Hi......I'm a 38 year old single mother of three wonderful grls, ages 22, 9, and 10. I have a Grandson that is a year old and the love of my life.....lol I am very family oriented and am looking for the same. I am old-fashioned in my beliefs, I am not into games, power dating, or one night stands. I am looking for a long term relationship. I miss being in love, I miss sharing my life with that special someone. I am very honest, faithfull, devoted and spiritial. I am trying to live my life according to God's word, trying to allow him to guide me towards my destiny. I am looking for a Christian man who can be the spirtual leader in our home. I attend church regularly. Looks are not the most important thing to me, I am not looking for a body builder although I believe in exercising as much as possible. I have worked in the medical field for the most part of my life as i am a natural caregiver. I have worked with the mentally ill, (I do not like the word "retarded") I have alot of patience with people and especially children. My girls are challenging and require patience and understanding. I am not a extremly strict parent. I have learned to pick your battles. I do not demand 100 percent compliance. I believe that children need to feel that they have some amount of control in their lives, age appropriate of course. I do not watch or allow my girls to watch scary movies. Someday, when my girls are older, I would like to be a foster parent. There are so many children who need safe homes and good examples. I love animals and have a tendancy to take in any stray I find and foster them untill I can find them a good home.I currently have a 3 year old male Jack Russell Terrier in need of a good home......he's a great dog but not neurtered. I also have a 4 month old female chiwawa/terrier mix that is our family dog. I would like a kitten........but were not quite ready yet. I hope one day to get my RN and work in the mental health field. I believe it is never to late to change or learn better ways. I am a hopeless romantic and enjoy most things. I do not like exotic birds or snakes.....they terirify me. I consider myself a slight risk taker but would never jump out of an airplane......lol I enjoy boating, beaches, fishing, camping, sports as well as other things. I am a Raider fan.....and if you watched the "snow game" and were as upset as I was........thats a great plus!!! LOL I like all types of music except rap and the hip hop songs with lyrics about getting drunk and high or disrespecting authority. I do not allow my gils to play video games that are about killing things or people, or stealing cars. I allow thm to play learning games or wii sports games, or puzzle games like Tetris. I do not like guns, but would not object to learning how to shoot.However, I could not imagine owning a gun, or having a gun in my house. I enjoy documentrys, comedys, love stories, and action movies. There is so much more to say......I have tried other websites without sucess. I am trying Match because I believe my chances of finding an honorable man are better since I watched The Dr. Phil show promoting ths website. I enjoy getting dressed up and going out every now and then. I do not wake up, and spend an hour in the bathoom applying makeup and primping just to go to the market. I have been told I have natural beauty and i am comfortable with myself. I am shy at first and I am hesitant to intoduce a man into my childrens life without being pretty sure he's a good guy. So, it may be a slow process, but definatly worth it. I do not use drugs. I do have a beer with pizza or a glass of wine here and there. I am ashamed to admit that I currently smoke but I am seriously trying to quit. If you are not interested after reading this please tell me what I am saying that is turning you away......I am not willing to change the basics of who I am .....but I can improve.....
