I'm a very social, face to face person and I like to be busy - "idle hands are the devil's playmates" or something to that affect, has been a good motto for me to follow. I work hard and try to play harder - when I have the time. I travel a lot with family and friends - currently planning my next trip to Italy, Spain, and Portugal. I have a pretty tough job during the week, but I try to balance it with spending time with friends on the weekends and working a fun part-time job as a bartender at my friend's local beach bar. I love meeting new people and it's the total opposite of my "real" job. My main line of work brings me in contact with so many different people from different walks of life, usually on their worst days unfortunately. I'm really a mixture of things - I can be laid back and just chill, but I can also be very focused, direct and motivated. I'm a bit of a Type A personality who was raised at the beach - a contradiction for sure. I'm honest and upfront - what you see is what you get from me and I have the same expectations of those around me. I can be loud and say what's on my mind for sure. If I see something I want, I go for it. I'm not really a girly girl but I certainly have my soft spots.
When it came to the section regarding what I am looking for, that was difficult because I don't want to miss out on anything or anyone - I feel like you just never know until you try something. I try to say yes to everything that is put before me and see where it takes me. Someone recently asked why I was on match and what I was looking for. I think chemistry is really important - either you have it or you don't. Someone who is honest and a straight-shooter and looking for a lasting relationship is the simplest way to sum it up. I was raised to be an independent woman, although I'm daddy's little girl - and daddy is a traditional retired military man and police officer.
