I'm an independent person and I've mastered the art of being alone without being lonely. However, I am open to meeting someone special to be a partner in life. I've never really sought "Mr. Right". Though I do enjoy being treated well, I'm not seeking Prince Charming. Rather, I'm more drawn to a "knight in tarnished armor" and think imperfections can be beautiful. I suppose it's fair to say that the qualities I'm looking for in a partner are the same qualities I'd like to think I possess... in a femine way. I'm down-to-earth. I love to laugh and spend time with my small but very close group of friends. I am confident and do well in both large and small gatherings, whether I know anyone around me or not. I've got traditional values but am open-minded and interested in learning about different perspectives. I'm just as comfortable in my favorite jeans, a ponytail and a ballcap as I am dressing up for a nice dinner out on the town.
Creativity is very important to me and I'm interested in trying just about anything at least once. I love music, animals, golf, movies, wine tasting, shooting (guns, not straight alcohol), traveling... you name it.
I will (shamefully) admit that I'm not much of a camper. I never could quite understand why people go to such lengths to avoid modern conveniences. That's not to say that I don't enjoy fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc. I'm not high-maintenance by any means. It's just that after a day spent outdoors, I find it more appealing to retire on a warm, comfy bed than a dirt floor. So a full-blown camping trip is probably better spent with the guys. :-)
One thing I need to put out there from the start is that I'm not a fan or user of recreational drugs. I don't judge other people if they choose to make this a part of their lifestyle. I just prefer not to be around it. However, I also must admit that I am a cigarette smoker. It's not something I'm proud of but I wanted to be honest and not hide it.

I find no pleasure in arguments and I am not interested in someone who does.
