I was born and raised in Durban ,South Africa, I backpacked through the States when I was 21, managing to travel from Miami, to New York to San Fran, and Orange County. I was an au pair and found myself sleeping on friends couches or floors but I had the best time of my life....great memories...I went back to South Africa and realized this is where I wanted to be, so moved here 13 years ago... permanently. Now living in Lake Forest...Orange County.
I am creative, but out of high school I studied Beauty Technology in South Africa (its a 3 year degree there), which included holistic healing massage, etc... I decided I then wanted to be an Interior Designer so studied in Newport Beach.... I play piano by ear. (not with my ear) :) I love Love an evening of wine (red is my fav), conversation and music, I also enjoy a good night out with Dancing but I prefer the laid back kinda evenings now....
I am divorced 2 years now, and would love someone to hang out with and go places with. I do have 2 beautiful daughters ages 16 and 11 and share custody 50% of the time. My friends describe me as a free spirit ,outgoing , fun, full of life..I love to smile, and laugh, I love humor.
It really doesn't take much to make me smile as I find humor in the smallest things..and I enjoy the simple things, a good cupa coffee in the mornings and a walk on the beach...ahhh my fav...or a beach cruiser ride sunset along the beach...I love nature and I love animals. Love Dogs, had 2 yellow labs and a beagle but sadly due to the divorce had to find them loving homes :(.. Was not fair to put them into an apartment with no yard....
I am most proud of my 2 daughters, my eldest is amazing on acoustic guitar and picks up songs of the internet and plays songs like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Colbi Calliat etc.... and my youngest a soccer stud shes quite the athlete loves to surf and is a killer drum player/...I..love watching them both grow in so many ways.
I would love to find an HONEST, fun happy guy that smiles..I have been hurt before and Im not a big fan of being lied to or cheated on....I would love to find a happy guy who loves to smile, and laugh and loves music and enjoys the simple pleasures in life....I have only dated 2 guys, due to the fact I married my high school bf was with him since I was 15 ...BUt now thats over and Its time to move on......so I am little shy at first as I am pretty new to this.
I think Im pretty simple as all I am looking for in a guy is someone who will love and respect me, someone who is honest, loyal, someone who has my back., and knows how to smile and have fun....I love taking last min trips to wherever the car, rv ,.plane or train will take me , I dont need major planning and I travel light I dont need a million bags....I dont wear much makeup, and honestly dont work out as much as I should I thank my Mom for her good genes...I eat pretty much what I like...and I like it all....
