. I like finding new things to try, and take learning new languages as a fun challenge. I danced classical ballet for several years, and absolutely love dancing . To avoid listing a bunch of activities I like to do, I encourage those interested to ask.
I'm looking for a motivated self individual, who enjoys the outdoors but can also be content with staying at home or occasionally going out. There is no cookie cutter mold that you must fit, as long as we are compatible. That being said, keep in mind that if you're twice my age or are old enough to be my parent I'm definitely not the girl for you (so I'd aim to stay in the general age range I provided).
But for those of you that are reasonably aged/interested, I know there's quite a bit missing, but I figured, if you really want to know, like I said you'll ask(not to mention that'll be the only way of determinig whether we are compatible or not) :). . I simply love the outdoors. As an engineering student I spend most days in the computer lab or library, so any chance I get to go on hike, run or a nice walk I immediately take.
That being said, another passion of mine is dancing and learning languages. Growing up in a Peruvian household, salsa dancing was at every family gathering, but aside from salsa I danced classical ballet for several years. As to learning languages, I have currently learned four but hope to continue learning more.
I grew up in the bay area in a small town called El Cerrito and consider myself old fashion when it comes to dates. I enjoy the usual chivalrous acts on any date and can also appreciate a guy who takes initiative. I consider myself very amorous and seek the same quality.
Additionally, I enjoy trying new foods as well as introducing them to others.

All in all I'm looking for gentleman who shares an interest to the outdoors and/or keeping active as well as bringing their own twists to the table.

Imagine all the things you would do if you weren't afraid.
That being said, I decided a couple years ago to not let fear dictate my decision making. Once I admitted to being afraid, I made it a point to do the thing that scared me. While they were relatively insignificant things (shaving the side of my head?) it still helped me to experience things I never would have done. Just do it! What's the worst that could happen? Maybe some weird glances? I'll get over it.
My mom, sisters, and best friend are the most important people in my life. The constant laughter, random dancing, and silly moments make for an amusing day to day life. At events and special occasions, we always have the "fun" table. So I'm looking for someone who can fit in to this whole ideal. I'd like someone who is kind of strange, full of love and laughter, and doesn't mind an occasional spontaneous dance party in my kitchen. I want someone to go on adventures with, to get lost somewhere and happen upon something awesome. He should be honest, optimistic, and resilient. He should understand that when people are honest it makes for a much simpler, genuine relationship with the people in our lives. And when I say "honest" I mean when someone asks for his opinion he gives it, instead of telling people what they want to hear.

I recently got in to fitness. So I work out about 5 times a week. Yeah! Get it!

I've been told that I'm mature for my age, but as I get older, I'm not so sure about that. Ironic.
My shoe collection is... extensive.
Grammar and spelling are important to me. You already know what I'm talking about... then vs than... yeah... you already know.
However, proper use of 'dot dot dot' is not important to me... Apparently it's called an ellipsis.
I respect and welcome constructive criticism.
I bake... All the time... I bake ALL the time. Pies! Cakes! Cookies! Weird concoctions that required no recipeeee!!!!
And I might be weird *gasp!*
