Meet someone special from United States. Writing about yourself is so hard, but here it goes. I am a Northern California native. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa. I lived in Santa Barbara for a time and loved it, but Northern California eventually called me back. I love living here and can't imagine living anywhere else. I like to visit though.
I am a public school teacher. I teach Kindergarten at the school I attended as a child and love going to work everyday. No two days are ever the same. I keep saying that I need to write a book about the funny things kids say. Maybe this year I will actually do it. I have two amazing kids who are the most important part of my life. They keep me smiling and constantly laughing.
My closest friends would describe me as shy at first until I warm up. Then you can't get me to stop talking. They would also describe me as happy, kind, warm, fun, loyal, honest, adventurous, and trustworthy. I am the kind of person who has a handful of really close friends rather than hundreds of acquaintance friends.
The accomplishment that I am most proud of is raising two amazing children. I am also proud of getting my private pilots license (even though I haven't done much with it since) and completing three sprint triathlons (.5 mile swim, 23 mile bike ride, and 4 mile run). The fourth one is coming in September.
My social life is kind of limited. I spend all my time at work with 5 year olds or hanging out with my two wonderful children of similar ages. I don't actually meet a lot of grown ups. I am looking for someone honest, funny, trustworthy, and intelligent who has similar interests and can have a grown up conversation. This method of finding that person seems totally foreign to me, but who knows. I do know of a few success stories.

. Oh dear... not sure what to say...have to do some serious thinking as I am doing this on a whim! I work a lot ( I'm a caregiver) and don't have a whole lot of downtime right now. When I DO have downtime, I like to spend it with people who make me smile and who I can do the same for them :) I like smiling...smiling's my favorite! I LOVE to laugh, and to sometimes just be quiet and soak it all in. LOVE corny jokes! ESPECIALLY the kind you can tell to a five year old as well as an eighty year old :) I truly hope to find someone kind and compassionate. It seems to be a challenge in this world of instant messaging and instant gratification... *crosses fingers* but I have high hopes! I am super silly at times, but know when to be serious and be responsible. Maturity may be overrated, but responsibility is key! Aw shoot! I'm all nervous and out of words for now!
