I’m a prolific reader, (mostly literature, some history and biography, but some of it deliciously lowbrow). The TV is usually off, unless there is a good movie or PBS series. I’m physically fit and active and particularly love playing in warm water: snorkeling, body surfing, boogie boarding, scuba diving or just being in the waves (Maui no ka oe). I like to hike, walk, bicycle, river raft, be outdoors. The symphony, opera and choral music have provided me with many moving experiences – a good aria sends chills up my spine, and I deeply appreciate great art (Florence is my favorite city for art.)
