If you, like me, are looking for the last great love of your life, please read on. I like to have a good time and always choose to live in beautiful areas with lots of outdoor opportunities. I moved to the Central Coast several years ago from Lake Tahoe and really enjoy living here. I'm a lifelong learner, love children and animals, am creative, and enjoy most of the things everyone else always lists -sports, the arts, doing things around my home, traveling, reading, dabbling in real estate and antiques. I have a large extended family in the Central Valley with whom I'm very close. I have three beautiful goldens, one of whom is a certified Therapy Dog and works with the terminally ill, the elderly, disabled and special needs children. Got a darling pup about a year ago. I also enjoy being a volunteer in my community. I'm intelligent, giving, very people oriented, with a strong sense of commitment, loyal, sensitive and nurturing, and do my best to live my life with honor and integrity and hopefully make some kind of difference for having been on this earth. Personal and spiritual growth is very important to me. I'm told I look and act far younger than my years, and think not having had children, along with good Norwegian genes, may have contributed to this. I also love to laugh and laughter is said to keep one young! I like myself and enjoy being alone. I don't want to date for dating's sake and would rather be alone than with the wrong person. However, life is much sweeter when shared.
I'd like a best friend with whom there are no secrets or games. Mutual respect, being able to communicate and share feelings and ideas are essential for a relationship with me. All the things I said about myself also apply here. The person I am looking for will be very intelligent (the sexiest part of the body is the brain), committed, honest, loving, sensitive, affectionate, humble, and have a lot of integrity. He will want his life to have meaning. He will be a one woman man with a great sense of humor, able to laugh at himself and me/us, spontaneous with a zest for life and experiencing it all. He will make me laugh and vs. versa, love to talk, be able to share feelings, emotions and everything else, something many men find difficult. I want to be truly connected, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically, with a true romantic, AND, of course, that wonderful chemistry. Loving animals, especially dogs, is a must, as is a love of the outdoors, especially the beach and the mountains. Like me, the person will be looking for his last first date. Though it would be ideal for my guy to live close and decidedly difficult getting to know each other long-distance, if it turns out that way, it'll be well worth the effort, I promise.
