Date someone special from Redlands, United States. Some friends think I'm funny, and I've been called bright. I'm interested in almost everything, but most of my 'recreating' just now is music (play trumpet) and folk dance-related (it's Festival season, after all!). I love to try new things, like ethnic foods, places, and kayaking (brand new adventure!).
Am using my time between jobs now to reorganize my home, and am exploring starting a business - used furniture. I've always loved tramping around junk shops to antique stores (don't forget Goodwill stores!) and never seem to be done 'decorating', so thought I'd explore that interest in furniture as an outlet for me and a service to others. But I'll still look for 'regular' work!
I enjoy taking care of my outdoor space, including plants and critters. I feel strongly that there's room for us all - well, except maybe the black widows. Want to do more outdoor stuff, as well as read more, and enjoy what life offers. Giving back is important to me, as is taking care of everyone I love and as many more as I can manage.
The picture is a couple of years old, but I haven't changed too much. Gravity has worked more of it's magic, and folks taller than I can now see some grey . . . The ear is my dad, just turned 97 in North Carolina - an at-least annual destination for the foreseeable future. I'll try to get a current pic up soon. Not completely clever with cameras and electronics. My sons are too far away to lean on now, so it's another thing I do for myself - and would gladly give up!
My dream man would be emotionally stable (at least no worse off than I), self-confident, hopefully a little 'handy', reasonably energetic, barbeque chef a plus, and dancer a miracle. A sense of humor is absolutely critical, a sense of adventure and wonderment is important, and the desire to see what tomorrow brings is what makes waking up worthwhile.
