I have raised two great daughters who are successfully involved in independant lifes .. I have three beautiful grandsons who are becoming very interesting people whom I love to spend time with .I own and still work in our family business . I have owned a unique infant toddler swim school for over thirty years .. I love the process of teaching little ones to swim and also being there to guide parents in what is usualy their childs first learning situation outside the home . I am also a yoga /meditation teacher and teach as a way of staying within my practice as much as sharing it with others . I want to move into the future open to brand new vistas and experiences ..that are intimately shared with another ..to travel the world or travel our dreams with each other ..the most important aspect is spending quality time together discovering new things about the world and about each other as we go.... . This is a difficult forum for me to know exactly what to say ..so I explore more... I am a person that loves to live in the moment I love to laugh and see the positive in things . I love to be in the beautiful outdoors ( and truly appreciate the incredible beauty of living in Northern California ) I also love to appreciate the arts and wonder at the gifts people have to share with each other.. I can enjoy the spontanious as much as delving into the depth of a particular subject matter. I consider myself passionate about life and want to feel that is always a significant part of my intimate relationship .I mostly read spiritual books .. but if someone shares with me a goof=d novel I can get wrapped up in it .. I love the writtings of Annie Lamont. ..her writtings are crisp and real and also close to home literally and figurtively.. Also I connect to some early Barbara King Solver .. Anything poetry gets my attention .. I like to write when the muse is on .. and it feels as if someone else or something else is writting through me at times .. It is a very spiritually affirming experience where I feel free and connected at the same time .
I have a desire to maintain a very loving relationship .. and know it needs daily nuturing to keep it alive and vital .I consider myself
spiritual rather than religious ..
I am looking for someone who feels the same .. yet has his own unique way of seeing and expressing himself .some one who feels comfortable in his own skin no matter where we are or what we may be doing. someone who can be both of inner strength as well as tenderness.. someone I can learn from ; be challenged by ; feel safe with. as well as be totally understood and accepted by..Someone who is secure in himself and yet still open to the viewpoints of others.. and it to be reciprocal

I love the smell of a man's T shirt, the touch of a kind hand, and the sound of a happy voice.
I am generally creative. I am a high school teacher. I like the theater very much and I enjoy it more when I am with a partner who likes it too. I like most music and I also like to be quiet. I am active and energetic and I am contemplative. I know I can be sensitive to my partner's needs.
I would enjoy a partner who feels at home with me and can trust me with their thoughts and ideas. No feeling is odd or to be discounted but to be explored and felt.
I like a lot of different foods. On a daily basis I tend to eat healthy. I like an active life and I always want to learn. I have been hard at work for a long stretch of time, now I want to enjoy my life more. I love travel and I like the simple things in life.
