Meet a woman from Valley Center, United States. I am a person who is working their way forward from a very bad 2010 and 2011. I am a retired Government Service Computer Engineer who shows her Gemini nature by loving the outdoors and all the splendour in wide open vistas and nature. I am not a lover of housework, but I do like to cook and am good at it. I like to travel, but not fly commercially. Horseback, carriage, or 4WD are just my speed and allow me to be closer to the earth and it's inhabitants. I find great pleasure in photography and my DSLRs are never far away.
I find God in nature and the splendors of His Creation. I love our Southwestern National Parks and many states' parks. The wind in the trees, the animal calls are my hymms and the sunrise over mountains brings proof of rebirth. Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Bryce Canyon are favorite spots. As is the view from my front yard of the horses and Mt. Palomar. And, yes, I'm still young at heart enough to enjoy going up to the snow, filling up the bed of my pickup, and driving down with enough for my horses to enjoy. They seem to enjoy snowballs.(LoL)
I enjoy architectural drawing, landscaping (but have absolutely the worst brown thumb), scenic travel, planning group volunteering, horse racing, my horses (4 Thoroughbred stallions), and cooking but leave the BBQing to a male. I love classic movies and music and am addicted to The Moody Blues. Classical rock, Spanish guitar, patriotic music, marching music are favorites. NO RAP or HIP-HOP.
I love to laugh at myself as well as humorous situations.I love to joke and some are at least XX, due to 33 years involvement with the Navy.I love to make people smile and laugh. I am the monogamous type and want my man to be the same. My former marriage lasted 29 years. I would enjoy a man who had a lot of things in common with me so that we would always have interests to share and talk about.
My man must LOVE horses and like my cat. If he's willing to help me get healthy again, I would enjoy working out with him and taking walks, and trail rides. Did I mention going to the races, or even breeding and racing our own horse?
