I have two boys who are getting older so I feel it is time for me to find someone to spend time with, I am not the type of person that needs to be in a relationship, I would like someone to share my time with. I have proven to myself that I can take care of me and my boys without help. I belive I am a strong person, although I can be emotional at times (aren't we all, I think if we were not we could not be human.) I will try to make you laugh(key word being try), and I am shy but that goes away if I am comfortable with the person I am hanging out with. I will warn you that I will most likey embarass myself at least once but I have learned to laugh at it and myself, I have figured out that it is more fun to just laugh at yourself and move on. I am by no means perfect, who would want to be? I am someone who will listen and voice my opinion only if needed or wanted. Meet someone special from California, United States. I am me.....plain, simple, and happy with who I am...if even a little bit clumsy and all. Those who know me know that I would be there in a heartbeat for my family and friends if they needed me, no questions asked. Friend's have said I am sweet with a bit of edge.

My shoulder, my ears, my heart are always open and what is best of all is I know my family and friends are the same. I find myself smiling at the little things.
I have girls (youngest is a teen)...and they are pretty dang Amazing if I do say so myself. I am looking for someone that is in a pretty similar stage in life and ready to share some time with someone, may or may not have kids, and isn't looking to start a family at this juncture in life.

*I love singing in the car, the speakers drown out some of the bad singing ; ) Even more fun when I have my girls or bestie wiht me.
*I love my large and extended family. Hard to explain to people who and how are related, but it doesn't matter to me. All I know is that I love them.
*I am a bit random.
*I talk to strangers easily.
*I am a bit clumsy.
*I love making people happy. Seeing them smile makes my heart smile.

*I love those quiet times when you are sitting alone and you remember something that just makes you plain out smile or crack-up. = )
So....what am I looking for? I don't want to put a box around friendship or maybe someday love...so some traits or things I look for in a man: Someone I can talk to about anything, someone I can just sit with and be, someone who when you hug can make everything else seem so small in the world...those are just a few of my favorite things.

Date a woman from California, United States. I am a firm believer in staying physically active and healthy. I spend my summer days playing sand and grass volleyball with friends. I also run 5-10 miles a week and take dance and kickboxing classes at the gym. My closest friends would describe me as an easy-going, outgoing and affectionate person. I love spending rainy days at home with a glass of wine and a paint brush on hand painting landscape art. Summer days are usually spent at the family cabin in Tahoe where I ride, hike, run, and just hang out at the beach. Sports is another favorite past-time....I love watching baseball, football and volleyball.
I would enjoy meeting someone who is spontaneous and fun and likes to do just about anything. Someone I can be open and honest with, who share similar interests, smart, caring, independent, generous and have a good sense of humor, a good heart, good family values, and able to balance work and personal time well. It would be nice to also share moments of down-time watching movie rentals, relaxing at home together, cooking (not looking for a chef but would be nice), picnics in the park and occasional trips to the ballpark and hockey games!
