Date someone special from Burlingame, United States. I am fortunate that most think I am far younger than I am, have been accidentally called my son's "girlfriend" at times, much to his
chagrin. I am pretty fashion forward and enjoy keeping current, need to maintain a classy appearance for work, but on weekends at home I am fine in sweats.
I am a former exec for a number of pro sports teams, over 25 years, here and elsewhere in the U.S. At VP level decided to switch to something less commercialized and moved into nonprofit fundraising, very rewarding. But I keep my eye on the sports biz and enjoy a game every now and then. Throughout my career my specialty has always been sales and marketing, very outgoing professionally, much more shy personally.
When not working I like to garden, go garage sailing, shopping (of course), refurbishing furniture and selling it, interior decorating, movies (at home or in theater), a nice night out for dinner and/or cocktails (by "nice" I don't mean fancy, just fun). The bucket list would include more travel, owning/operating a bed/breakfast somewhere, running a successful furniture consignment shop (not all at once!). I have a wicked, very dry sense of humor and also the occasional potty mouth, so be forewarned. I am easy going and strictly no-drama!
I am looking for someone who is the all-around "nice guy" - kind, outgoing, smart, up on trends and current events, likes to give foot rubs, has a great network of family and friends, as little baggage as possible, likes dogs, great sense of humor (equally wicked and dry as mine would be fun) and is close to home for me (I live in Burlingame, work in Menlo Park). Retired or still working doesn't matter, but I enjoy working and will be for some time yet, so my time is somewhat limited because of that.
Chemistry is kind of a big deal, although a great personality and sense of humor is really golden. I do lean toward tall guys!
I guess in the long run I'm searching for a partner, but I'm also OK with just meeting a new friend, or occasional dates with someone if we hit it off. But, if that special someone comes along.... who knows???
Am I describing YOU????
Chemistry is really important, I lean toward tall guys.
If you've read this far and are still "in", send me an e-mail, the hell with the "wink".
Meet a soulmate from Burlingame, United States. I think my friends would describe me as grounded, confident, and rational. I am an optimist, and try to find the positive in people and situations. I am kind and considerate to others, and to myself.
My hope is to find a very special man, who is ready and eager to find a soulmate, and willing to take the time to get to know me. Things I like to do, and hopefully with that special someone, are traveling, going to movies, concerts, theater, museums, taking long walks, just talking. Family and friends are very important to me, and I would hope to integrate mine with yours.
