Meet someone special from Sunnyvale, United States. Hmm about me... I've been told that I can come off as serious, but those who actually know me know that I'm probably one of the silliest people they know. I like to try to bring smiles to people's days. I believe in random acts of kindness because they are the best kind of gifts. I am passionate about several things that mostly revolve around disparities and injustices in the world. I value my friends and family enormously. I LOVE to read (yes I'm a bit of a nerd lol) so you can often find me on the couch or at a cafe reading the latest novel I've picked up. I'm also a huge sports fan (basketball is my favorite!). I'm equally comfortable in heels or jordans, and like my disparate shoe preferences, my personality is also a bit of a mix: part tomboy, part girly girl, part intellectual, part clown. My relationship with God is an integral part of who I am.
One last thing, I have an amazing puzzle building talent. Do not challenge me; you will lose.
As for him, I'm looking for someone who challenges me to be a better person. I'm a romantic at heart, so he would need to be as well. I value chivalry and a gentleman who knows how to treat a lady right. I'm looking for a God-centered family man who has a heart for people and loves to laugh as much as I do. For someone who I can be both silly and serious with, and someone that is ambitious and will push me as well. I would love to find someone who wants to travel the world with me. I'm looking for a strong, confident man that I can trust and depend on. Finally, I'm looking for someone with an open mind that is quick to forgive and slow to anger. If he can cook, huge bonus points! :) Those that cannot spell, do not appreciate sarcasm, or do not understand the need for good hygiene need not apply please and thank you.
Date a soulmate from Sunnyvale, United States. I grew up in the bay area and have recently come to terms that I will probably always live here- I just canРІР‚в„ўt seem to say no to the beautiful CA sun! That being said, I enjoy spending plenty of time outdoors biking and hiking, trying to take my dog for a walk (he's very un-dog-like in this regard- he doesn't like walks), or laying by the pool. On the weekends I enjoy going out in San Francisco, card nights with family and friends, or just staying in to read a good book.
I went to school in Texas and absolutely loved it. I probably go back at least 3 times a year to catch a Baylor football game or just visit friends. I swam competitively in college for a year, then decided that club water polo was where it's at. I prefer water sports over land sports, mainly because I suck at running. I'd be the first one to go in a zombie apocalypse for sure :)
While IРІР‚в„ўm highly sarcastic and sassy (as my friends frequently remind me), IРІР‚в„ўm also just as honest, loyal, and devoted as they come. IРІР‚в„ўm looking for someone who is laid back, able to make decisions, motivated in life, likes to travel, values and respects his family, enjoys the company of others, has a great sense of humor, and has tech/computer prowess (because my knowledge stops after how to recharge my ipod).
Meet single girl from Sunnyvale, United States. Hi! I moved to California about 4 years ago from Boston, and I've morphed into a pretty typical Silicon Valley resident - I work at a start up, I like to be active outdoors, and I'm in perpetual pursuit of the most amazing (insert thing/experience here) that San Francisco has to offer. I embrace the "Work hard. Play hard." mentality that is so pervasive in the Bay Area, but sometimes it's nice to take a break from the action/adventure lifestyle and just chill on my balcony and catch up on some reading.
I feel incredibly lucky to have the life that I do.My job involves building marketing programs for early stage startups. Currently, I'm responsible for global email marketing strategy and execution, brand experience, and a slew of miscellaneous marketing blah blah blah that makes lots of $ for my company. I'll be the first to tell you that I love what I do, and I have way more fun than should be allowed! I'm constantly fascinated by customer behavior in reaction to certain levers, and I consider myself lucky to have found my calling relatively early on in life.
Along the way, I've made many friends who are now like family. They keep me on my toes and bring out my mischievous side. It's also with their support that I've pursued amazing experiences such as finishing a marathon (2010), skydiving (2011), and living on a boat for a week while SCUBA diving around the Bahamas (2012). I tend to keep busy trying to check things off of my bucket list, and my friends are largely responsible for egging me on. I think I'd like to tackle a century bike ride or a triathalon next, so if you have any experience in this arena, I'd love to pick your brain!
Another important part of my life is music. I've played the violin for over 20 years and still play regular concerts with a local orchestra. Don't worry! I don't expect anyone to be as much of a classical music buff as myself. Most of the music I jam to is from other genres and I really like going to concerts for bands/singers that I'm enjoying at the moment.
I like being around people who are comfortable in their own skin, who are happy with life, and have a good sense of humor. I also think kindness and thoughtfulness are underrated traits, and I appreciate people who take the time to think about others. If you're a warm, positive person who doesn't take himself too seriously, I'd like to meet you!
Date a girl from California, United States. "I believe that everything that you do bad comes back to you. So everything that I do thats bad, Im going to suffer from it. But in my mind, I believe what Im doing is right. So I feel like Im going to heaven."..
if you want to ask questions and hear the real answer think if you're able to give one as well- if yes email me please if not, lets not waste each others time....I have enough to deal with and not trying to bring any drama to my life...staying far away from it!
simple person, finding happiness in simple things and looking for the same in the other person. I am goal oriented and know what I want.
Saying Hi never hurt before, so someone needs to say it first...
Meet someone special from California, United States. Not sure how to start this, but here it goes...I like to look on the bright side of life, and will forever see the glass as half-full. I love to surround myself with other optimistic people as I find that pessimistic, sarcastic, and/or cynical people leave me feeling drained. Sure, I have bad days like anyone else, but I try to bounce back from them as quickly as I can. I am a combination of sensitive and strong, which allows me to enjoy all the good experiences in life. And the bad experiences? They only make me stronger! I am a very resilient, well-rounded and determined person.
My enthusiasm and passion for life are readily apparent, and contagious. IРІР‚в„ўm not much of an extreme sport or adrenaline junkie, as I have fun in other ways. I enjoy a combination of exciting activities (e.g. hiking, going to a Giants game with friends, going dancing, etc) and relaxing/restorative activities (e.g. cuddling, watching a movie, reading a book, etc). Sometimes after a long week at work I will sleep in late on Saturday, make a fun breakfast, go on a vigorous 2-3 hour hike, come back home and take a relaxing bath, then take a nap, and then when I wake up feeling revitalized I want to socialize and laugh, so IРІР‚в„ўll rent a funny movie, go dancing with friends, or something else along those lines. Speaking of dancing, IРІР‚в„ўm starting salsa lessons next week, and I couldnРІР‚в„ўt be more excited. After salsa I want to learn tango and rumba. A love of dance runs very strongly in my family, and I think it would be really difficult for me to be with a guy who doesnРІР‚в„ўt enjoy dancing. IРІР‚в„ўm a very passionate and romantic person, so I would love to be able to dance with my guy. I am very observant and sensitive to the senses, so I really appreciate things like restaurants with romantic lighting, beautiful sunsets, soft textures, pleasing aromas, and delicious flavors. On that note, a few months ago I went wine tasting in Napa for the first time. I enjoyed it so much that I have decided I want to go at least once every year. Beautifully aged wine, gorgeous views of Napa, and castles!? Yes please! I also love downtown Carmel because it has cute little boutiques and art exhibits, romantic cafes, and stunning sunsets on the beach. I love and admire these things as is, but to be able to enjoy them with a special guy would be the icing on the cake.
Although I am generally talkative and outgoing, I have my shy moments. I tend to have more shy moments when I am first getting to know someone, and I can take a little time to warm up, so patience is key. My friends would describe me as happy, witty, outgoing, genuine, intellectual, and loving. I would love to have a life that involves getting dressed up and going to a fancy ball or opera, and then another day having a picnic in the park or going on a canoe ride. I enjoy the fancy, bold aspects of life, but it would be meaningless if one couldnРІР‚в„ўt also appreciate the little things in life. ItРІР‚в„ўs all about balance. Due to my inquisitive nature, I would love to travel, sight-see, and explore. I havenРІР‚в„ўt had much opportunity to travel during my adult years, but it is something that I look forward to doing more of.
As far as what I’m looking for in that special guy? I’m not sure how to describe what I’m looking for, but I’ll know it when I see it. I would like a guy who is supportive and loving, makes sound decisions, knows where his career and life are going, who is a skilled communicator, and hopefully who is romantic and loves to dance. I don’t want to restrict myself to a certain type, but those are some of the main qualities I’m looking for. I’m very intellectual but also very romantic and silly. Although I would love to meet someone I can have intellectual conversations with, its just as important—or maybe even more important—that we can laugh together and be romantic with each other. I spend enough time in my head due to work and hobbies. It would be nice to spend more time in my heart
