Meet single girl from United States. Four years ago I decided that I was tired of New England, so I packed my car and moved to California with no job and no plan. To this day, it's the best decision I ever made. I spent two years in Monterey/Carmel before moving to San Francisco in 2010. I absolutely love it here.
I work for a tech start-up (don't we all?), and love the dynamic, fast-paced environment. I'm fortunate enough to truly love what I do, so I usually don't mind the long hours. My other passions include travel (Egypt has been my favorite place so far), writing & photography. Delicious food, spontaneous roadtrips and great playlists make my life complete. My favorite places for quick weekend getaways are Big Sur and Lake Don Pedro. I'm embarrassed to admit that despite having been up and down the entire coast, I haven't been wine tasting in Napa/Sonoma or hiking in Yosemite. Yet. If I'm not in my car headed somewhere awesome, you're likely to find me in a coffee shop, taking a long walk around the city, photographing a unique event or at a show/sporting event. I love to take advantage of all the fun things that happen here.

I work really hard, own my home, adore the outdoors, and have big ambitions for the future. IРІР‚в„ўd love to find somebody with a similar set of priorities, sense of stability, and array of dreams.
For the somewhat longer version: here are five things you'd probably learn about me over two IPAs:
1) Family is really important to me. I grew up in the Bay Area, am the youngest of four, and think that my parents and sibs are rad. We spend a lot of time together. Perhaps unsurprisingly, my brothers and I are also the common thread amongst our family of friends. They're an awesome bunch, and I'm sincerely grateful for each and every one of 'em.
2) I love to backpack, snowboard, and (most recently!) rock climb. IРІР‚в„ўll never turn down the opportunity to make a mess in the kitchen with friends.
3) Work and career growth are high priorities for me. I work in biotech, currently on the business operations side. I tend to change roles frequently to keep that learning curve nice and steep. I commit long hours but also firmly believe in shutting it off, when I'm able. Someday, I sincerely hope to have a family.
4) I majored in biochem out East at a place characterized by Crimson and Veritas. In many ways, those four years taught me more about who I am not than about who I am. I do, however, value education greatly; tutor some amazingly-resilient kids weekly; and frequently land myself in graduate classes for which I am slightly under-qualified.
5) IРІР‚в„ўm pretty independent, so a combination of separate and shared interests works well with me. I'm in Tahoe every weekend from Dec-Apr, and I'm frequently off backpacking during the summer. If you want to come with: sweet! If you want to say: "Awesome! Get after it! I'll be here doing my thing:" doubly sweet. I appreciate both the time apart and the time together.
Bonus Item! 6) Life has a pretty funny way of always working out.

My best rides around here so far have been the Presidio, Marin Headlands, and the Crystal Springs path, and in June I took my bike to Berlin and rode 200 miles in Northern Germany.
I love to travel and try new things - bungee-jumping in New Zealand, camping in Madagascar, meditating in Thailand, and skiing the French Alps.
