Date a woman from United States. Where do I begin? Let's be honest: I'm rather sassy and I have a big personality... Called SF my home for the last 12 years and can't imagine living anywhere else. I call the 7x7 home and I can't envision leaving... the burbs are just not an option for me.
I'm originally from Texas and still have a soft spot in my heart for the Lone Star State. As they say, you can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl. While I spend my days working for the man (often boycotted by the Occupiers), my spare time is spent on a variety of things: friends, writing a book, running around outdoors, so on and so forth. I recently dusted off my Le Creuset and Kitchen Aid and have impressed myself with the skills. Let me just say, I rocked my office's world with some coconut cupcakes. I am now the most popular person in finance, hahahah. I forgot how much fun it can be to have people over to drink wine & cook. It is just like riding a bike:)
Who am I looking for? You idealy are rather tall, sharp witted, smart, looking for more out of life and want to live a life without regrets. In the interest of being honest, if you're passive and meek, this is not going to work out between us. But if you're somewhat loud, funny and boisterous we'll get on splendidly. I want a partner who has it together and knows what he wants in life.
I love to travel and would love to find a travelling mate. I want to die laughing at your jokes and for you to think mine are just as funny. At the end of you the day, if you don't have laughter and stupid jokes, what else is there? In addition to laughter we'll need the chemistry and attraction that are paramount in any relationhip. The zsa zsa zsu (hopefully that's spelled right) between two people is something that you can't fake, so why even try? I want to find someone that I can tell anything and everything too. In the ideal world, you'd just know what I am thinking as I make some stupid face or role my eyes.
I can't help it, I don't have a poker face, so I can't even try to hide how I am feeling. Don't ever have me as the ringer in a Texas Hold'em game or liars dice... I will lose you the pot for sure! Anywho, hopefully laughter and zsa zsa zsu will lead to a partner in life and love. I look forward to hearing from you.
Meet someone special from United States. I moved to San Francisco/Bay Area in March, so I thought I would try this medium to meet new friends and such. Just came from OR, but have lived in the Sacramento area, Chicago, LA, Thailand, and a few random small places in between. Fun to see so many places but I think I am going to stay put for awhile. I tend to live by Chaplin's advice: "Failure is unimportant. It takes courage to make a fool of yourself." I like to try new things, get out and explore, and take refuge in the fact that I can laugh at the many mistakes that can come from this. I would find life pretty boring otherwise.
All in all though, I am a pretty easy going person that loves laughing and sharing with others. Traveling, music, and being outdoors are things that I look forward to, but also enjoy hanging out over a beer, cooking, dancing, sports (playing and watching), and game nights. I am slightly sarcastic and sometimes have a dark sense of humor (Dr. Strangelove is my favorite movie). I love old movies (perk of moving here: Film Noir Film Festival), BBQs on nice days, and forage hiking (berry or chanterelle picking). My friends describe me as an eco-tarian. I'm mostly vegetarian, but will occasionally eat meat, and am all for reducing and reusing. So if you eat fast food everyday and buy disposable everything, we may have issues.
A good week for me would include both city and outdoor adventures. Seeing music (Slim's or Brick and Mortar or randomly walking into a bar that I hear good music coming out of... last week it was the Milk Bar), a dinner party with friends, and hiking or camping on the weekend is a good example. Although a Giants game, wine tasting, and an urban hike could easily be inserted.
I am pretty eclectic in music tastes, ranging through bluegrass/folk, funk, rockabilly, dream pop, 80s electronic/synth revival, and latin and swing for dancing. so as long as you are into any of the above, like what you are doing with your life, are okay with making mistakes, and not afraid to step outside of your bubble for new experiences, then we can probably be friends. And who knows what comes after that?
Date a soulmate from United States. I am a work in progress, always will be.
IРІР‚в„ўm not perfect, but try to be the best person I can be, do good, and enjoy this very short life we live.
I value kindness, honesty, integrity, and openness.
I grew up in New Mexico...moved to SF via NYC. I definitely feel like the bay area is home- A perfect balance of city and nature. I could also see myself living a more simple, rural life at some point, more and more I love being in the trees!
I'm grateful to get to do what I love for a living-I'm a designer. I work hard and am good at what I do, but work/ life balance is very important to me. Balance is the key to many things...
Things I love:
I love to dance...A LOT-(don't worry if you don't, but cool if you do!)
I love to draw to make things look beautiful. I love animals, flowers, art, color, nature, yoga, sleeping, dreaming, kissing, sex, snuggling, eating good food, drinking wine (and champaigne) reading, museums, fashion, flea markets, compliments, my pet chickens, old barns, attics, sleeping under the stars, hotsprings, hiking, lazy weekends, new adventures, traveling, making a home, honesty, being a woman...
IРІР‚в„ўm pretty cute, I dress well, I'm kind, down to earth, and super easy going.
IРІР‚в„ўm excited to find someone special to share my love, time, and brand new memory foam mattress with:)
When I’m in relationship, affection is important to me. Monogamy is also important-if we get there…as is a strong sexual connection.
Drop me a line if you're interested.
Dont be Shy.
If not, good luck finding your lady.

Meet a woman from San Francisco, United States. Hi. I'm new to the Bay Area. I've lived around the world thanks to spending some of my early adult years in the military. Now I have a delightful "real world" job so I hope I will find myself in this great city for quite some time!
I love to travel, meet new people and make the most of life. I'm usually a pretty happy person and generally excited to be alive!
I love the outdoors--hiking/camping, backpacking, triathlons, mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, golfing, swimming, climbing, running and more. If I can get outside for any reason, I will!
I also love to travel. I've been to five continents and hope to visit the last two in the next few years. Among my adventures, I've walked along the Great Wall of China, climbed Kilimanjaro, bungy jumped in New Zealand, eluded the Russian police in Moscow, and snowboarded the Alps. I've visited over 55 countries and can't wait to visit 55 more!
Ideally, I'd like to meet someone that has the same interests. Someone that likes to try all that life has to offer, especially it involves an amazing adventure in a neat new place! I'm very liberal in my beliefs, and would also prefer someone who embraces the same view points, but that's certainly not an end-all since it can lead to some very interesting discussions! :)
Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. I've lived in San Francisco for about eight years. I'm originally from the Central Valley where I grew up on a small farm in the country. At the age of 18 I moved to SF to attend college. I moved without even really visiting the city but luckily it was love at first sight.
I would like to think I'm funny, outgoing, kind and a energetic person. I believe in good people and good stories. I love to smile and have a very positive attitude on life. I like new adventures and spontaneous decisions. I am up for any challenge. I enjoy spending time outside at a sports venue, playing/laughing/chilling with friends, or watching the kite boarders at Crissy Fields. I feel just as comfortable in Uggs and sweats as I do in 4 inch heels and a mini skirt.
Growing up I played sports and still like to think of myself as a athlete. I enjoys staying active -running, biking, softball, yoga, weight lifting, boxing, tennis, crossfit. I'm a addict to the runner's high and plan on completing my first marathon this year. Growing up I was also mom's little ballerina (out of 4 children I am the only girl so it was only fitting.) I still enjoy dancing but now instead of hitting up the dance studio I'm hitting up the dance floor of a local bar with a few of my favorite friends.
I'm looking for someone active, confident, funny. A gentleman. Someone who enjoys living life. Someone who will join me on a run or compete for time on a WOD (crossfit talk for workout of the day), Someone to continue to explore within and outside the city, enjoys the same things I do and can introduce me to new experiences as well.
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. From peas to brussel sprouts! And everything in between. I've spent the last 8yrs in SF, having moved from a little town from the North Country. It's been an incredible journey. I am looking for a partner in crime to laugh with me for the next while...
Date a woman from California, United States. Movin’ on up…
…to the city. Call me a slow learner but, after having spent the past seven years in Palo Alto, I have come to the realization it is best-suited to college students, young families, and retirees. Being none of those, I am now happily settled in the city by the Bay, but I am looking for someone who can show me the insider’s San Francisco or, if you are also a newcomer, someone who wants to find those hidden spots with me.
I am kind of sporty, having played college soccer and having been named MVP of my high school intramural basketball team, a team that scored a season high 26 points (I am not sure that any of us ever made it into double digits). I still play corec soccer, with only a "little" loss of speed and skill, especially if there is a promise of post-game recovery at a local pub. I also enjoy pickleball (played on a miniature tennis court with a wiffle ball, and requiring quick reflexes and the ability to control use of language that is inappropriate in public places), working out, running, hiking, shooting pool, etc. I like many spectator sports, but often prefer college to pro.
I am in possession of a well-stamped passport, a graduate degree, and many recipes for excellent cookies, along with the ability to bake said cookies. As for my character traits, I confess to being, don't gag, a people person. That means not just that I tend to like most of the people I meet, but also that I manage (I hope) to avoid being totally offensive to most people most of the time. And I have a nice smile. Does that count? I consider myself to be a devoted and loyal friend and, when in a relationship, a faithful, honest and no-games girlfriend. If that sounds saintly, IРІР‚в„ўm not.
You can read the rest of my pedigree below. What am I NOT looking for in a guy? That’s simple: anyone who, if you had a sister who was dating him, would make you pull her aside and say, “What are you thinking?!”
To be a little more specific, if you are NICE (greatly under-rated), brainy, confident (but not arrogant), with maybe a touch of sarcasm, if you are active and fit, if you can make me laugh and if, most importantly, you found my profile to be of interest, then DO NOT WINK. Send a message.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I take my final steps toward the crest of the ridge, catch my breath, and shield my eyes from the glint of the sunrise off the bay. I turn and watch the fog curling up toward the mountain peak. At this moment, I'm so full of awe and gratitude that I can't help but scream out into the cool morning air. Yup, life is goooood. I have friends who rock my world, family who keep me grounded, nieces that give me perspective, a job that enables all my passions and adventures, and two feet that take me to some pretty magnificent places. Sometimes I run out of superlatives, so I have to make up new ones.
I'm looking for a stellar sidekick for the journeys ahead. You should be ready to explore the unknown, probably look better unshaven, have a favorite hat, treasure something that belonged to your grandfather, and be willing to take a dare at a moment's notice. Bonus if you bring your own superlatives. I'll bring the snacks. I've got a muffin recipe that people are convinced contains crack, I've perfected homemade chocolate ice cream, and I can make my own sausage. Seriously, I'm a catch.
Date a soulmate from California, United States. I was born in D.F., Mexico and raised in Southern California - but San FranciscoРІР‚в„ўs home now.
I love to laugh, I'm always up for an adventure (traveling, exploring and just getting out of town) and I love to bike (around town and over the bridge). I cook a mean meal, and I wonРІР‚в„ўt go a month without throwing a dinner party. I'm very active and seem to always find myself out and about - catching up with a friend, rock climbing, or exploring the city. I also love my job, my friends, my niece and nephew, and just about every farmerРІР‚в„ўs market in the city.
I can't live without pork products, a little bit of sarcasm, sunshine, and home cooking. I try and take time to enjoy the small things in life and focusing on the positive. I'm a good listener and a good friend.
What people notice about me first? My smile, my laugh, my big brown eyes.
