I am the girl who walks around with a smile on her face, and likes to talk to strangers and make them smile and laugh. Guys tell me I look better in person than in my pictures, and I am lucky to be blessed with the "young" gene, so I feel my age does not define me, at all.
I am very active and try to work out every day - The Dailey Method, boxing, hip hop dancing, running, did a ton of tris (like Wildflower and an Ironman), cycling (AIDS ride), hiking... and in season ice climbing and outdoor climbing - because being physically healthy and strong, eating fresh foods, hanging out with friends and family, are all important to me. I will always lend a listening ear, try to practice compassion and not judge ...and while my life is very fulfilling, I think it would be awesome to find someone to hang with, and possibly develop into an LTR.
Walks along the beach looking for the green flash, dinners with great wines (love austere french reds and am willing to try Napa reds and whites that you like), hanging out in front of a fire with my fleece jacket making s'mores... there's so much to do and experience, and I want to do it all!
Sushi over elaborate french, pomegranate over chocolate, finding fun over waiting for fun to find me, Avengers over EatPrayLove. Have a particular weakness for musicals, and I love to sing. Yosemite has a slight edge over Manhattan, but not by much. Travel is fantastic, have been lucky to have travelled abroad alot, a highlight was swimming in a bay off the coast of Brazil. Amazing.
Love cooking spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. Listening to music on iPods, catching up over the events of the day, it's the simple pleasures that make life on this Planet so fantastically rich. I like guys who are sincere, confident, kind in action. Emotional and intellectual bandwidth are great foundations for relationships, I think.

It's true that once you get a certain age you start realizing how valuable time really is. It is the one commodity that we cannot buy or make more of so as Helen Keller said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all"...pretty intense coming from someone who was deaf and blind. So I try to appreciate every day for what it is and not be afraid to stick my toe out in the water and let it get wet.
I like to read, in fact I used to carry a mini library around with me in my car, but now they're all on my iPad. I like adventure and traveling. Put me in a car and point me in a direction and stop at all those crazy little places along the way and forget where you started out heading to that day is my idea of a great way to spend some time away from home. I like road trips as well as getting on an airplane and flying across the country or ocean to discover some new place. I like to do things outdoors, walking, hiking, getting out in a kayak, hitting some balls at the driving range.....and snorkeling in Hawaii was awesome!
I have had the wonderful experience of living in a small coastal town in Alaska where the air is so clean and the water so clear and everyday the view out my kitchen window is better than any aquarium I have ever visited. I have not only seen humpback whales, but heard them singing from across the water. See eagles, otters, seals and sea lions regularly. I will probably always have a desire to be back in Alaska when I can. I have been in graphic/web design for many years and getting ready soon to start a new career path which involves going to school and a move to San Francisco, which I hope will become one of my favorite places to explore and it offers me the opportunities that I am looking for right now.
