I'll start by saying my greatest aspiration is to be a strong, loving, graceful woman of God, as well as a wife and mother. I believe that is my calling in life. I know there are many women who would say I have no ambition (career-wise), but I believe there is no better job than devoting my life to God and my family. I love my God, country, family, and friends. I'm pretty conservative in terms of my manners and clothing, and tend to be fairly soft-spoken (depending on who I'm with). I'm a lover of dogs, baking, traveling, and music/singing. If I could figure out what kind of job would allow me to bake, travel, and sing all at once, I'd be the happiest girl in the world! You can usually find me hanging out with my cute-as-a-button Goddaughter, staring through the oven glass watching a cake rise, at a movie or dinner with my friends, at choir rehearsal, or kicking back at home watching period dramas. I should have been born in Jane Austen's time. Whatever happened to people bowing to each other? *sigh*
I love books and often read several at once. I seriously need a Kindle; my life would be so much easier. I love games, especially ones that keep my mind sharp like Sudoku and crosswords. My family's holiday celebrations are often capped off with a cracking game of Taboo. I love classical music (especially opera), museums, and the theatre.
I'm looking for a kind, humble, hard-working man who puts God and family first. Ideally, he loves children and is a dog person. And a great sense of humor is a must! It would be nice if he also likes traveling, music (but really, who doesn't like music?), good food, a nice bottle of wine and history. Ultimately, I'm looking for someone with whom I can grow in my Catholic faith (this is essential) and have a family. I believe what we all want is to love someone and be loved in return. And that's what I want.
