I thoroughly enjoy my job as a college instructor and find educating and interacting with students daily a very rewarding and challenging experience. When I am not teaching, I love playing sports ( tennis and volleyball especially), hiking, paddle boarding; pretty much anything that is active.
I tend to have the "try it once" mentality and like to keep an open mind to all opportunities. I also like going to see new places, relaxing at home with a glass of wine, making a nice dinner, watching a movie, going out for drinks and food (especially sushi), and I am sure there are other things I would love if they were presented. I have friends that I have known since I was 5 and am very close to my family. While I value close friends and family, I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their life experiences.
I would like to have a relationship in which we enjoy activities together, explore new things, and enjoy just being around each other whether we are on a gorgeous tropical island or sitting at home lounging. Support,encouragement, friendship, respect,laughter and genuine passion are quite important for me to experience in a relationship.I have known and experienced relationships that was mostly a "friendship" and others that were pure heat and passion. Simply put, I want both! I want to feel the bond and connection of a friendship, but still look at my partner and want to rip their clothes off. I know that is difficult to achieve, but I think it is possible and worth striving for.

I love cheesy or raunchy tv and cult classic movies. Tosh.0, south park, Colbert Report, Pulp Fiction, Big Lebowski, Super Troopers etc. But this usually surprises people since I hide it until I'm sure they won't be offended by it.
I love to laugh and enjoy a good story. I laugh at even the dumbest stories (including my own)
I like to try new food (Indian and Filipino are great) but dirty Mexican food is, by far, my favorite :D
I love a man who can tell a joke and take a jab or two. I like to be serious about serious things (paying bills, going to work everyday) but light hearted about life, kids, and things that go wrong (murphy's law, man).
My all time favorite thing to do is read. I read about 100 blogs weekly (freakonomics, fail blog, regretsy, post secret) and books non-stop. I like to share funny or interesting links, but not stupid forwards (the horror!)

I have 2 kids, a son who is 7, and a baby daughter. I am very serious about protecting them, raising them right, and making sure their needs are met. I have them most of the time so if you don't like kids too much you are on the wrong profile!

Date a soulmate from Escondido, United States. Hello! A little about me, born and raised in the Midwest and made the trek to San Diego in 2008. It's been great getting to know a new city but the Midwest will always have my heart.
I work in the Advertising and Marketing industry and it is a true passion of mine. I love the fact that I can use my creative energy everyday. I do realize there is more to life than work though :)
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to new restaurants and new bars and staying on-top of the newest places. My art, cooking and photography are a few of my biggest passions as well.
I believe my friend's would say I am a loyal person, always there when you need me. I do think a friendship or relationship of any kind is a give and take from both parties. The effort needs to be equal for it to truly work. As long as that's the case, I will always be there for you, willing to hangout whenever and help whenever called on.
