Meet someone special from California, United States. I joined this site after recently moving with my firm to a new location and getting my bearings in the area. I have never tried online dating, but was convinced to try it out after many of my friends shared their positive online experiences with me and considering my recent move/schedule.
I am originally from southern California, born and raised. I did my under grad at UC Berkeley and finished my JD and LLM at Cornell Law. I am an attorney; working primarily in civil litigation in a 200 law firm based out of southern california. I love my career and my current job. I am passionate about growing as an attorney and making the most of of my professional life.
I have lived in Bahia, Brazil, Paris, France, and Lisboa, Portugal, New York, DC, Santa Monica and Malibu. This past January, I moved from Santa Monica to the Inland Empire for my job- the job was so worth it and many of my family members live out here. I thought it would be a positive experience to grow professionally and to spend quality time with my family. I intend to move back to LA or the OC, within the next couple of years. I have to admit, I do miss my daily runs on the beach though.
I enjoy traveling and exploring the world. I have back-packed through parts of South America w/friends, have travelled throughout Europe w/friends and solo, and have gone to various areas in Asia (took a girls trip with my mom this past December). My next stop is hopefully New Zealand (to visit one of my best friends) or Central America.
I have ran 6 half marathons, am a certified spin instructor, and used to teach outdoor bootcamp. I love staying active and my main hobbies revolve around sports and outdoor activities. I used to box for fun, just did my first sprint triathlon this past April, am now part of a legal league softball team, and am always willing to try new things.
I am very close with my family and friends. I have amazing parents that have been married 40 years. On an average weekend, I enjoy spending time with my friends, exploring new areas in LA, good food, and trying new things (I recently hiked out in Catalina Island and went on a yacht w/ my friends for memorial day in Marina Del Rey). We also have bbqs, go out to bars and nice restaurants, and relax. Sometimes after a long week, I'll prefer to unwind and just watch a movie in, solo ;)
I love good quality food and to cook it, when I get the chance. I appreciate the various cuisines I've tried throughout my travels and attempt to incorporate that into my culinary treats. I eat clean and healthy: nothing fried, no fast food, etc.
I am a wine aficionado (or I'd like to think ; ) ); I'll enjoy a good wine in, sharing with friends or family, or out at dinner or out tasting. I even make it a point in my travels to sample wines and learn about the different varietals. I have gone wine tasting in the Loire Valley in France, in Mendoza, Argentina, in Lisboa, Portugal, Napa, Temecula, New York, etc. But put me at the right bar, and I'll definitely have a nice Amber Ale ; )
I treat people the way I would like to be treated. I am warm (pretty sure it's the hispanic in me ; ) ), am playful (especially if I know you well), and believe that respect, in many different capacities, is an important component in any relationship (friends/family/romantic).
In sum, I try to have a healthy work-life balance, stay positive, and make the most out of every experience I can.

Meet single girl from California, United States. Im a laid back girl that wants just that as well. I want someone who is comfortable at a bar or a ball game as much as they are hanging out at home with a group of friends. I love going to bars to hang out and people watch. I am shy in big groups and I'm not a huge fan of being in club situations unless I am there with a big group of my friends. I like pop and country music, and I have a soft side for some good rock. I like to go line dancing sometime, but that is a newer thing for me. I enjoy watching sports, mostly baseball and football but really any sport can hold my attention. I like playing slow pitch when I can. I love most kinds of food, unless they are crazy spicy.
As as for guys I date I like to think I am not super picky but people like what people like. One of my biggest things is you have to be a dog person! Not that I have anything against cats or bunnies or fish, I just like dogs the best. I also like a guy that knows what they are doing, maybe not with life, but at least with their career now.
