Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. Very excited to be back in San Francisco for about a month now - found my apartment in the Marina area and love being near the water again. Have been in Louisville, KY helping my sisters take care of my mom for a bit, but I just needed to come back to my adopted home of San Francisco. My next adventure (although being here is an ongoing one) is to drive my car all by my lonesome across the country from Louisville back to here, slated for the end of July.....hmmmmm.... MINI-UPDATE: starting what I hope is my 4 day drive with my car on 7/24 - wish me luck!!
Having someone special though to simply enjoy life together, this fabulous city, and so much in California - what could be better? It is my hope to find that person as I think it is most important in life more than anything else - sharing a life.
I have a slight southern accent with my two children on their own (one on each coast - NYC and Seattle). Wish they were closer but they're both happy and doing well so for a mom (or dad) that will always suffice. Trying new things and having new experiences always appeals: The romantic, passionate side of me thinks it would be fun to learn to tango; for the adventurous side, a ride in a hot air balloon; and for the lover of wonders, I'll swim with dolphins one of these days. Even another trip to Florida to walk along with the peace of the breaking waves and to squish my toes in the sand is a thought that always makes me smile.

I am a professional artist, managing a print studio in the Mission District of San Francisco, I teach book arts and printmaking and I am an adjunct faculty member at De Anza Community College in Cupertino. I raised two good boys, one is a CPA and the other is a civil rights lawyer. My oldest son gave me an old Gibson acoustical guitar so I can learn to play. I make art when I can.
