I love Eleanor Roosevelt. She was, in my opinion, the most intelligent, bravest, and classiest woman of the 20th century--a true feminist. I also love this quote, however, because I feel that it strongly represents my life. Nothing has gone as I thought it would, but it all worked out one way or another.
My life goal is to take in as much as this world has to offer. I lived in Prague for awhile and was therefore able to travel around Europe. From there I went to Botswana, where I stayed for a few months. However, I'm not anywhere near done with my gallivanting. Traveling is all I want to do with my life, it is all I work towards, and I know that much of my life will be spent living overseas.
I plan to live overseas by integrating my other passion: education. As soon as I began substituting I knew, "This is what I'm suppose to do with my life." I earned my credential last June, but unfortunately was not able to find a permanent job for this school year--I'm feeling positive about next year though, good juju ?
I am very close to my big family, especially my three brothers. My brothers are the funniest, wittiest, most intelligent people I know. We are ALWAYS laughing, teasing each other, especially while doing our favorite nerdy activities like board/card games and jigsaw puzzles. We are naturally a sarcastic group and my brothers have thickened my skin. Because I grew up in a constant battle of wits, I find humor in things that others may not, and I've come to realize that not everyone understands my humor and sarcasm. Once comfortable with someone, I can be rather goofy and weird so you have to not just put up with weird behavior, but you have to keep up with a sarcastic wit. I love intelligent wit interspersed with strange, awkward perspectives.
I am looking for someone who is willing to try new things and is interested in exploring life. Most of all though, someone who can do it all with a hilarious sense of humor. Friendship is the primary goal. Any kind of relationship needs to start there and needs to always be based off that, so that's what I'm looking for.
