I am looking for someone that can share my preference in life. I preferred to live in organized and clean place, I enjoy to visit beautiful, organized, and clean places (Singapore, Solvang, and similar...). I work to earn money so I can be happy and afford fun and enjoyable life NOT to be slave by money. I like to cook and get crafty (are you familiar with instructables?). My idea of the perfect vacation typically involves: (a) beach bungalow; (b) scuba diving; (c) tiki bars; and (d) anti-malarials. I get hyper when I'm happy so if you're slow like molasses, that's cool, but you may not be able to handle me. I guess my only requirement is that my partner have a pulse and be passionate about life. Yes, I recognize that's pretty vague. . I'll be honest, I've always been kind of skeptical about online dating, I guess it doesn't seem like a very romantic way to meet someone, but what really is in this day and age. I'm definitely at the point where I'm over the bar scene, heck I'm not really sure I was ever into it. I like the idea of meeting some new people on here, taking things slow, and maybe just becoming friends and seeing what happens. I'm the kind of person who can't be easily defined. I've been told that I'm full of contradictions and I guess that's true. I'm kind of a homebody, but I also have an adventurous side. Lately it seems like my homebody side is winning out. I'm just not into going out at night and drinking and partying much anymore. However, I am thinking about going to Burning Man this year. I also just read an article about a treehouse community in Costa Rica I want to visit. I enjoy going out for a nice dinner and movie and doing things during the day on weekends.
I've been accused of being high maintenance. What does that really mean anyway? I definitely have opinions about things and I have high standards. If you're just looking for someone to sit there and smile and always agree with you, I'm probably not the girl for you. I'm not the kind of girl who dresses up in hoochie-mama shoes and spends hours with the blow dryer and curling iron, but I do have a strong fashion sense and care about my appearance. I'm also a foodie and kind of particular about food.
I tend to get bored easily, I'm not sure if that is a character flaw, if I'm just inherently never satisfied, or if I'm just the kind of person who is always curious and wants to live life fully. I feel like I always want to learn something new and try new things. I'm somewhat of a free spirit but at the same time I have old-fashioned values and morals. I'm strongly against organized religion and that may be a deal breaker for me. I was raised Christian Baptist and have some real issues with it.
What I look for in a guy, first and foremost would probably be kindness and honesty. A sense of humor is always nice. I hate to say I have a certain "type" as I'm open to meeting different types of people, but if I was to describe my ideal guy he would be something like Marshall Mann on In Plain Sight or Jack on Lost -- smart, confident (but not cocky), have integrity, and be able to kick some ass, but only if the occasion called for it. (Who's your celebrity crush?) I'm looking for someone pretty close to my age. It seems that most people on here lie about their age and post outdated photos. Well I can say that mine are very recent and I'm being honest. Drug users and Jesus Freaks need not apply.
