I've been living in the city for four years, although two of those I was traveling non-stop for work (hence, above). After college I had the good luck (actually bad luck turned good luck - funny how the world works that way) to backpack for ~6 months, filled with 12 hour bus-rides (ask me about the wayward cow incident), cold water bucket-showers, scary encounters with big bugs and a relaxed pace that is so opposite of my city life.
