I am an active, curious, easy-going, fun-loving person, possibly more irreverent than I should be and slightly more opinionated than I deserve to be. Non-materialistic (except for shoes) and would rather do just about anything than go to a mall. I like to dress up sometimes but casual has become much more my style ( shorts and flip-flops are top wardrobe choices) . I came to San Diego in the late 1970РІР‚в„ўs in an old van which I lived in for several months while I traveled up and down the West Coast visiting school friends and deciding where to live. Much has changed since then but the love of adventure remains intact. I've been in San Diego pretty much continuously since then and, although I love to travel to different places, I'm always happy to come home to San Diego.
IРІР‚в„ўm hoping to meet someone who is happy, funny, fun, intelligent, grounded, intellectually curious, and able to see the irony and humor in this sometimes nonsensical world. He would be physically active, somewhat health conscious and romantic without being mushy. He would be open-minded, adventurous, like animals and nature and wonder (as I have to believe everyone does) how this whole universe has come to be and what we are doing here anyway. Fun travels would be as much second class buses and off the beaten path places as nice hotels and fine restaurants. Just being together would make the most mundane things enjoyable. We would be best friends, lovers, confidants, and our relationship would make us each a better person. I believe that, in the end, Chemistry is everything and that a perfect match on paper is meaningless without it. But I guess it's a start.
