So, let's cut to the chase- here’s my story in a nutshell (and what lead me to Match for the 2nd go-round). Moved to San Diego in 2004 for school and graduated in 2008 with a steady 70 hr workweek job. After 3 years of working my butt off and purchasing my first home at 24, I decided to make a severe life change. I wasn't happy, and the first step was to quit my job and seek out what would really make me happy in life. For a while that consisted of lying on the beach, consuming adult beverages and soaking in the sun with friends. It was a nice change of pace, but even that got boring. After 7 months of soul searching (cheesy, I know) I landed my dream job. It has been everything I hoped I could find, and it allows me to travel the world with some pretty awesome people. Without getting too much into it (what would be have to talk about on our first date... :) I plan seminars and events around the world. This year alone, I have been to Vegas, Melbourne, Whistler, Jersey, Sydney, Fiji, London, Fiji (again), San Jose and I’m heading to Brisbane next week. So hopefully that gives you an idea of who I am, and what my life is like. I make my family and friends a priority and spend as much time with them as I can. I manage my parents' catering business, so I'm with them everyday. My mom and sister-in-law and foster sister all sit next to me in the office, and my brother and dad are in the kitchen. And although I need breaks quite often, my family is the most important part of my life. When we get together (outside of work), we play board games and sing show tunes. We're not a creepy happy family, but if you're not a family person, don't bother.
I'm a pleaser. If you're in my life at all, I will bend over backwards to help when needed.
As I said, I have definitely learned from my experiences, and I know what I want and what I don't, but I'm still very open minded.
