I have took down my narrative profile for awhile as I think about who I am and what I really want out of a companion. Firstly. I want companionship, friendship and the desire and opportunity to share new experiences together.
I've been reviewing what a lot of other people have been putting on their profiles. I can honestly say that most of the interests that others have been listing are in one way or the other similar to mine - ie. I like classical music but I go to a concert usually only once a year - that is they are interests but I usually don't have time to pursue them on a regular basis -
Things I don't do or are not interested in are - horses
- winter sports
- cars
- foreign travel (Canada excluded)
Not sure that I am ready for or deeply interested in a 'long term' relationship but, that idea can always change in the future. Just want to meet people, share ideas, thoughts and experiences - make friends.

I find joy in varied indoor or outdoor activities from walks to movies to attending festivals, museums, concerts, even a good lecture etc. I appreciate most music with gospel, jazz, and Latin jazz at the top of my list. I am an accomplished percussionist (Latin) and world traveled. I enjoy most sports be it TV viewing or participating or attending a sports event. Tennis is my game. I appreciate family, and kids love me. I think because I have lived and worked in the hospitality industry as a career most of my life (hotels/restaurants) in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, I seem to have fun wherever I go.
I am well grounded in my faith as a Christian and would prefer that you are grounded in your faith as well. I’m a good listener but so are you. I find joy in cooking, great conversation on most any subject and doing different things. I’ve often heard most of my life that I am: “good looking, funny, and a nice guy."

A blessing a day is great, even a small one. I do not drink but I do smoke but an cutting down and will quit one day soon. I really do want a non drinker and one who can enjoy life to the fullest. I'll just say that, I am a very young and athletic 63 yr. old, most think I'm in my 50's when I meet then.Very easy going, and comfortable in any social setting and I have friends from all walks of life. My pictures aren't the best but I don't usually take pictures. (I know maybe pay for some, but it just seems weird) I workout, in excellent shape, and very active. A mix of athletic and the artistic...with a strong dash of business. The latter is a by product of being allowed to do the former. You can ask... It's the little things that make a great relationship work. As they are the things we deal with every day. I enjoy active, curious women. We should share some of the same artistic, athletic and intellectual interests. I am not religious in the organized sense. I have been in film and tv for many years, with a few breaks.
