Date single man from California, United States. I own my own home on 5 acres in the foothills of Calaveras County. Professionally, I have been a teacher on many different levels for the past 25 years and have just retired! I have been involved in athletics my entire life and continue to do so as a participant, coach, and spectator. I absolutely love having the great Sierra Nevada as my backyard and am frequently exploring it as a camper, backpacker, mtn bike rider, runner, and skier. I also enjoy the more cultural aspects of life and get into the city as often as I can to see concerts and sporting events, and go to the theater, comedy clubs, and restaurants. I have always had a high level of fitness and am always out doing something very physical. I have a daughter attending grad school at U of Wash and family scattered between San Jose and Lake Tahoe so I spend considerable time in those places as well. I have destinations in life, but believe that the journey along the way is equally significant and usually more fun. I am looking for a companion who would like to share this journey.....
