Date someone special from California, United States. Well my friends refer to me as Mr. Wonderful(uh oh, I think I might have trouble being serious with this) but I'm really very modest. I thought "Dumb and Dumber" should have won an Oscar so you can tell I have very intellectual tastes.
I'm interested in a lot of things besides finding a great lady. I live in the mountains so I like all of the mountain things such as hiking, fishing, going on rattlesnake hunts( not really but just thought that would be something women might enjoy) and hanging out with friends.

I like to play golf, tournament softball and I'm also a musician. I love blues and some country, especially bluegrass. I'm not playing in a band now but maybe soon. I love to travel and lived in Mexico for 2 years. I'm actually there now until April. The weather is perfect and I have a lot of friends so having a great time. In fact I have a picture I took a few weeks ago of Lake Chapala at sunset in my profile photos. I've got my laptop here so would love to hear from you.
As far as politics is concerned if Sarah Palin is elected President I will be returning to Mexico permanently.
My idea of fun can be traveling or just daily life and being with a special lady just makes it that much better.
I'm really looking for a woman that when I say something that I think is witty or deep, she looks at me in a way that I know she's thinking, "what is he babbling about?" Just kidding! Ok I'll be serious here: I hope to meet a woman who is happy within herself, grounded(unlike me), and is understanding. Pretty is nice too(there's a shocker).

restaurant owner married for 30 years but put work ahead of everything else. Very active....live between Santa Cruz and Murphys but hoping to just stay in Murphys. Trying to get better at golf...but just getting worse. Spend most of my time in the yard working on landscape projects....my favorite. Have 3 older children..very close. all successful and college graduates and are just plain great kids. Two grandsons......my greatest love.
