Date single man from Pasadena, United States. I am in many ways a traditional man who is somewhat religious although I do have a few quirks. The first movie I remember seeing in a theater was "The Jungle". I know my parents though they were taking me to a jungle action safari movie, but it wasn't exactly that. The safari found live giant mammoths in Inda and I was hooked. That film led to a life long love of science fiction films, then to horror films (The classics not the bloody ones), then to classic films and then to science fiction and classic literature. Then I got hit by the Davy Crockett craze, and I still have my coonskin cap which will be buried with me. That though led to a love of history. In high school I discovered drama, card games, and I also found I liked watching college football and basketball. I passionately follow my alma mater the University of Arizona. The college games are the only sports I watch. More recently I have discoved swing and ballroom dancing: I really love dancing to classic rock and roll. Also, someone once told me my sense of humor was almost British??. She was born and had grown up in Europe so I guess she knew what she was talking about.
I was born in Tennesse and grew up in Tucson so by beliefs are very midwestern: I value family and home and although I have been in LA for many years I still feel I don't quite fit in here. I'm a listener and not a talker and I've been told I have a passionate gentle soul. My cousin tells me I have a quiet strength, whatever that means. I exercise enough to keep in good shape but I am not into exercising. I am attracted to slender women so I feel I also have to be in resonably good shape myself. I have only listed a few things that I do but the ones I have listed are the ones I love to do and do allot ( once a week or more). I don't list things I do only once every three or four months. I believe that if you do that you will get responses from people you really won't have allot in common with. And I am definitely not an outdoor person.
My ideal match would be someone who has traditional family beliefs, moderate religious beliefs, has some of the same likes and quirks I have, is VERY FEMININE, prefers the indoors to the outdoors and who is five to perhaps twelve years yonger than I am. I didn't have children but I love them and if you have them that would be great. I don"t care how tall someone is or what color the hair or eyes are or how "well endowned" someone is. Those doesn't mean anything to me. I do need someone though who is very pretty (to me), SLENDER and has VERY long hair.

I’m an attorney working for the state. I’ve been quite fortunate to like what I do. I enjoy crafting a legal argument and writing it well. I love serious conversation as well as light-hearted banter. I like talking about current events, history, social issues, and politics too but not with people for whom all such conversation is a campaign. There is a quiet joy in an honest, tolerant and open-minded conversation even about life’s little things. Thinking together is actually something two people can do that is very enjoyable! Well, let’s not forget conversations used to tease because you’re happy, because you want the pleasure of a response, now that is a wonderful art. Done well, it can make you forget to go out.
I am healthy and fit. I get my workout at home or at the gym a few times a week and hike occasionally. I enjoy going out for a movie. Mainstream movies are just fine, but I prefer ones where the story is more important than the special effects.
