I'm looking for a woman who would like to go the the Performing Arts Center, then go watch a storm pass by while snuggled up next to me in front of a fire at the beach. If you know who Kahil Gibran was we're in the same ballpark, if not, don't worry about it... I like to walk on the beach (morning or evening just like 12 million other people. Taking weekend trips up the coast. I enjoy all types of movies, Broadway shows; I even went to the opera once(didn't knock my shoes off). The point is that I like all kinds of activities, but more importantly, I don't mind trying anything if it is with the woman I love. I'm a graduate of UC Irvine and went to Western State College of Law where I learned to really dislike lawyers. I'm very mechanically inclined and don't think I've ever run across something I couldn't repair. Although I have some preconceived notions as to what my ideal mate would be, it would be hard to say anything more than looks are important (I have a preference for long hair on women)but they are not the controlling factor. I'm looking for someone to share hopes, dreams, ups and downs (life's not always a bed of roses!)and will express her desires, opinions, convictions openly,knowing that I will listen and respect what she has to say. I may not always agree, but I'll always appreciate her efforts to talk to me. Born in Hawthorne, Nevada 8 July 1949 ten min. past midnight, raised in S.L.C., Utah (at 9 months)joined the Boy Scouts - age 12 - Life Rank and then joined the Civil Air Partol - age 14 - Cadet Program - Cadet Encampment Comandar - Hill A.F.B. age 17,
attended West High School graduated age 17 -Vocational Automotive repair, went to visit Portugal - Age 17 - Civil Air Patrol, graduated from Weber State - age 18- C.O.P Electrical Mechanical Ins Repair - F-4C Aircraft, went to wok for Civil Service - to age 20 at Hill A.F.B. - A S N Navigation Comp. Control Systems, resigned to serve a mission in Peru and Ecuador at age 20 to 22. Our small band of 30 missionaries brought in over 1,300 convert baptisms in less than three years, have worked for the IRS, The city of Las Vegas Fire Dept., have helped built homes, worked on Casinos, have worked as an apprentice ffour years to become a Certified Manufacturing Optician for 6 1/2 years and made eye glasses for John Wayne, Betty Davis and Diana Shore, worked for 9 yeas as a supervisor Air Craft Main. and Cleaning O C Airport, have my C-33 Contractors License, have worked for Interior Designers, General Contractors, Home owners..

Let's see.........I can't possibly put my entire history in a space like this, but I live alone, cook my own food and don't eat as well as I should. On the plus side, however, all that greasy food does keep my coat nice and shiny.
I have been playing a lot of golf lately and would have probably given it up long ago except that I have too many shirts. Maybe someone out there can give me something to do that isn't as frustrating as golf.
Over the past few weeks, I've started telling my friends that I have blond hair instead of gray. They nod politely and say, "Sure you do, Charlie."
I would say that the questions posed in this survey seem somewhat superficial and finite. I don't think anything or anyone can be reduced to a series of questions about religion, ethnicity, activities, etc.
I will stipulate to the fact that we are all "fun loving", we all love to travel to exotic locales, we all love holding hands walking on the beach at sunset, we all love candlelight dinners, we all love boating (on someone else's boat), and we all love puppies.
I think, to be honest, is that most of our time togther will be spent not doing the things that we all listed. Emptying each other's bank accounts is probably not what either of us has in mind. Most of our time will be spent alone with nothing special going on. And what happens between us then is what our relationship will be based on.
I would like to think that any kind of relationship is based on mutual respect, consideration for each other, and a genuine effort to care for and try to make each other happy. It's really that simple to me.
We really can't expect that in order to have a rewarding relationship that we have to constantly be travelling, dining out, wine tasting, antiquing or anything else.
