Date someone special from United States. I like to laugh; alone, not so much. I want to laugh and have fun with a companion, best friend, eventually a lover, and for the long term if it works. I've got the world to offer but I'm not in a hurry at all. Friends first, no games. And if it works, it works! Please...I am a good man with a big heart. I don't believe in cheating nor lying and expect no less of my friends. Loyalty and honesty mean a lot to me. My work and my animals rule out long or exotic vacations. If that's what you desire stop here! Spur of the moment road trips by car, truck, motorcycle, or on horseback are another matter. Day trips, overnites in some B&B, a nice hotel in the city... Can you learn to love life with horses, dogs, the water, the desert, the mountains, the forest, or maybe motorcycles...Plenty of places to explore and nothing in the way! Then again quiet evenings with steaks on the grill, a movie, the jacuzzi, or a game of pool with talk late into the night are high on my list of favorites. Live up above the Kern River Valley. It's quiet. I'm pretty much at a comfortable place in life. No drama, no baggage! The hard parts are past. No worries about health or finances. It would be nice if there were that special someone to share life with, have fun with, love with, make it all a little more interesting. Not looking for either of us to be overwhelmed by the other. A mix of togetherness with some separate interests would be nice. Best friends with overlapping lives, lovers, or both. Life is meant to be shared if it's only takin' a ride with a best friend. I think the biggest mistake men make is in their failure to talk to, more importantly, listen to their partners. Most of us men are extremely bad at translating the signals a woman sends. We just don't read right. I like to communicate, talk. I'm very turned off by arguing or any other type of abuse. Life is too short! I spent quite a few years helping raise three girls. They're now all early twenties. Still on my phone plan and still show up at the door in tears or just to visit, or to stay a day or two, maybe ask for a few bucks or a ride.. And grandkids (2). You will have to be okay with that. Family is important to me. I do work a lot and plan to do so for years...But never holidays or weekends. I'm not into bars but I can be coaxed into a nice restaurant or function important to my partner. Most other times it's jeans and t-shirts. I can't really relate to activities and women my age...seem to have gotten stuck in my forties somehow! I consider myself semi-trainable if that helps!! Match seems worth a try. Let's talk...But if you're just looking for money please don't waste our time.
