Meet a soulmate from Carmichael, United States. I am an original born and raised Sacramento guy who lives his life now - as he always has -with purpose, energy and enjoyment! I’ve grown up loving the different seasons here in Sacramento and enjoy them all for what they have to offer. Although I’m recently 63, (chronologically only- its simply not as it is and as I really am!) and I’ve always gotten to things a bit later in life than the averages –girls, academics, tennis, snow skiing, my orthodontic practice, golf, marriage, family, divorce, etc. (either 'Late bloomer' OR 'a bit slow on the uptake'…). I suppose looking for the last Love of my Life’ at this point would only be in character - just a little behind the curve!
I've always worked hard to be the best I could be at whatevever challenge has been in front of me. After playing competetive tennis year 'round for the first time as a senior in high school, I improved to the point where I played #5 on UCB's varsity tennis team my junior year. We were ranked 20 in the country that year. Later I competed on the ATP tennis circuit for several years gaining a world ranking in both singles and doubles. After four days of slalom waterskiing, I was able to ski the 'short course' of competition buoys -absolutely loved it! At 51 (chronicalogically), I was the oldest member of SquawValley's Free Style Bump Team. For the last 12 years, I have bow hunted 'world class' mule deer throughout the west and Canada. Since the middle 1980's, I've worked hard to build and maintain my private orthodontic practice according to the highest possible standards of quality and service. I love my profession and will practice or be involved at some level, for quite a while longer (hard to catch up to the curve). In spite of all these accomplishments, my single most fufilling endeavor has been marrying and having my daughter. Since divorcing, it has still been my charge to be the best father possible and have reveled in the growth of the relationship between my daughter and I. Although my daughter has truely completed the circle of life for me, I'm looking forward to again sharing those elements of life that makes us whole and complete. (Forgive me if this all sounds like bragging, but (1)you would'nt ever know and might never respond unless I wrote about it and (2) I do admit to suffering the sin of pride in how I work to live my life BUT honestly believe humility and being understated are highly valued virtues.
I will always love the hug and spirit of my daughter (now 18 and in colllege locally), the outdoors, kind people, intellectual interaction, fire, water, mountains, the smell of the earth after a rain, the wag of a dog’s tail, wildlife, nature, orthodontics, smiles, and laughter.
What I am looking for in a relationship is the return of what I have to offer. I am looking for chemistry with substance, someone to share life, thoughts, love, and intimacy, to be teammates with, to be more complete together even though we are already solid individually. It sounds a bit korny, mushy, common -but that’s OK- it’s just the way I am and it is!
I am looking to develop a relationship with a woman that starts with the mutual wobbling of hormones’. I would want the relationship to develop into our becoming great friends, companions, and lovers. Along the road, I would want the process of learning about each other to be mostly joyful. Although I do believe that some of the most significant things we learn about ourselves –to be shared with our BFF’ – is sometimes painful and not fun. I would want our understanding of each other, at all the different levels, to be always worthy of respect, appreciation, and forgiveness - and, in some instances, admiration. They say “be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it!”. On this side of the coin, I’m looking forward to it!

Meet single man from Carmichael, United States. Average build with about 5 extra pounds to lose and excellent running build.
Idle match would be a partner in travel and also enjoy keeping fit. In my opinion good conversation is an excellent method to creating a long term match.
Really grateful for the many friends and family in my life.
Ran a 10K (6 miles) in Lake Tahoe and 1/2 marathon Urban Cow in August. Plan to run part of the CIM (California International Marathon) in December. My goal this is year is to run the Maui marathon in January 2012. Only a few people my age are still running. But this is only one of the activities I enjoy. In the summer time, I garden a lot and have 60 tomato plants to make salsa. Also traveled on short trips to Carmel, Lake Tahoe, Porerto Vallerta-Mexico, and took a cruise with friends to Mediterrannean Greek Isles. My latest attemp at eating healthy is to eat 40-50% raw food and try to have fish twice a week.
Date a man from United States. I'm a published author, avid communicator, fearless world traveler, leader of many, follower of a few, whose spent a lifetime preparing for the one special woman who will tame my heart...Open-minded, fun-loving, independent woman whose looking for someone special to share travel, caring, love, and romance....you really need to have a great sense of humor...life is too short!!!. And: I have a Ph.D. and have a passion for my profession and mastering life at every level...I've learned everything is termporary and you've got to live like your life depends upon it.
Meet a soulmate from United States. My family and closest friends describe me as a warm and gentle person and always having a friendly smile. I never start a day without being in a good mood and looking forward to each day. Life is much too short to be any other way. I have always realized it, but much more so after losing my wife of 32 years of marriage. I'm looking for someone who has a great outlook on life, one who enjoys being with other people and/or just alone with their significant other.
I enjoy playing golf once or twice a month. I've been playinng golf since I was 8 years old. I was born to a golfing family. I'm very competitive in sports and in life itself. I love cooking and have done so since I moved from home at age 19. It satisfies me when family and friends enjoy my cooking. I would rather give gifts than receive them. Making people smiles makes me smile. I think I have a good sense of humor and enjoy making people laugh.
I consider myself a very outgoing person and credit my 40 years of sales success in part to my personality.
Another of my passions is driving my Shelby Cobra. It has always been a stress reliever for me. A half hour ride around town in the Cobra is great therapy. I have always dreamed of having a Cobra since the cars came out in the 60's.
I have a great relationship with my children. I see them almost daily or atleast talk to them. They have played a very important part in my life and are very supportive of me.
I'm looking to spend time with someone who wants to enjoy good conversation, have a great time doing whatever it is at the time. If a real meaningful relationship were to evolve out of a casual one, then it is meant to be. If not, just having a good time together is also a good thing. After 32 plus years of being married, this is like learning how to walk again.
Date someone special from United States. Now that I have retired, I have the time and energy to devote to a relationship. To do the little things that makes your partner feel special. I am looking (just like everyone else) for that last love of my life to truly enjoy the rest of our lives together. I am affectionate, honest, unpretentious, adventurous and sensual. Physical fitness is important to me and I hope it would be for you. We are not fanatical about it but realize its importance in enjoying life in our later years. I enjoy the closeness that intimacy brings and a comfortable affection between us. You should be comforable with who you are but realize you are better and more fulfilled in a relationship. You are a sensual and uninhibited person. You have your own life and do not need a partner to complete you but rather to complement you.
