I grew up in Wisconsin, spent 3 years in the Air Force, 4 years in college, and lived in Arizona, Florida, and Texas before making my way to California in the mid 80's. I have always been active - golf, skiing, basketball, and working out. However, I am not into spectator sports.
I love to take little trips around California, especially the wine regions. I think that I have over-indulged in almost all of them. I also like to travel to quaint little towns and visit the shops and restaurants. I would like to spend more time at art museums, plays, and musicals.
I don't take life too seriously, and I have an irreverent, self effacing sense of humor. I don't own any Elvis posters or beer can collections, but I do have a 14 year old son that stays with me part-time in my two bedroom apartment in San Ramon. I own a house in Brentwood that I rent out. I am always up for meeting new people. I like to start conversations with strangers, and so far have not been arrested for doing it.
I am interested in meeting someone that wants to plan the future together; when we go on vacation, who we invite over for dinner, what family events we will attend, what new things we will learn together ( perhaps ballroom dance), how we will fit exercise into our schedule so that we can stay healthy, and finally – how I can learn to write a shorter sentence.
I spent most of my working life in real estate related jobs (managing, selling, and teaching). I left that work in April 2009. I opened a small restaurant in San Ramon that sold. I just got back into selling real estate again.
