It's hard to sit down and describe one's self, but I am someone who has a wide range of tastes and interests...I enjoy travelling, road trips, exploring the well known as well as off the beaten path....looking to go to Europe, especially Italy, sooner rather than later...love many types of music (kind of eclectic...a little of everything and too many types and artists to list)....follow the Lakers and Dodgers, but not as consumed with them as I used to be....enjoy literature....dining out and exploring new restaurants as well as going back to the old standbys....love going to movies (as much for the popcorn as the movie!)....used to sail and wouldn't mind taking it up again....I love the water and enjoyed a few cruises... the Hollywood Bowl is wonderful (when is Van Morrison going to return here?)....enjoy the theater and other live venues...love to browse in bookstores, especially used bookstores, but they seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate unfortunately....will go to San Francisco at the drop of a hat just to go to Fisherman's Wharf and check out Alcatraz and take a walk through Chinatown....enjoy going to Las Vegas and hanging out at the pool and playing some video poker (I always stay on the strip but also like to visit downtown once in a while) and just hang around... As best I can I try to avoid people and places that are pretentious....if your idea of a perfect time is shopping on Rodeo Drive followed by dinner at a sophisticated restaurant then we might not be a match (that's not to say I wouldn't do this but there are other things I'd rather do)....I prefer Santa Monica Pier and a walk on the beach to the foregoing.....I'll take a national park over a country club, etc....I'm looking for someone who is genuine and down to earth...in this setting and in this self-description II think it's important to be true to who you are as opposed to trying to appear to be the ideal of someone you don't know....and if you listed in your preferences that you are looking only to meet someone making $150,000 and above, then we're probably not a match....I look forward to meeting someone with similar interests to share time with and do things together with........I'm not sure that this information is overly helpful.....it's much better to talk in person rather than go by this....and it may not be evident from anything contained in this description, but I think I have a great sense of humor and don't take things too seriously I love to laugh, but I guess who doesn't....I try not to sweat the small stuff.....Anyway, if you're at all interested drop me a line....I'd be happy to provide a link to a photo.......
