Date a man from California, United States. If you can you handle a little light-hearted sarcasm and give it right back, then we already have something in common.
My friends would describe me as loyal, caring, laid-back and adventurous all wrapped into one. The thing my friends are surprised about (at first) is that I can get into chill mode VERY quickly when I’m not in accomplishing goal mode. Challenges are my thing and that’s one of the reasons why I work at the place I do. That’s also the reason I run up the long stretch uphill by my house at the end of my workout – because I know how great it’s going to feel at the end in more ways than one. That’s what really keeps me motivated more than the creative side. While I haven’t been the type that thinks of new ideas on a whim, I feel like I’m starting to tap into that side more as I continue to grow. I am pretty much all in when there’s something I like - it’s just the way I’ve always been.
I am a hot sauce lover for sure (and the spicier, the better). The story goes like this: When I was a baby, I nabbed a chip with hot sauce from dad when he wasn’t looking, laid into it, and then started crying dramatically. Wouldn’t you? So after my dad thought the fiasco was over, I decided to go after another one…I’ve been obsessed with Mom’s salsa ever since.
Although I stay pretty busy during the week between work, the gym and running, I still like to hang out at dinner on weeknights whenever possible. The weekends on the other hand are dedicated to hanging out with my fun family that means a lot and the close circle of friends that are just as important. Sunday afternoons also typically include some comfy couch time catching up on the important things like cheesy reality shows - some of those darn shows make me laugh hysterically. Then on the other extreme is my addiction to the NBC nightly news which will have some competition with the Olympics very soon.
I feel very lucky to work for a company I greatly admire and I just so happen to do what I’ve wanted to since I was a youngster. One thing I’ve grown to learn is that playing hard is just as important as working hard. For 10 years after college, I was so career oriented that I didn’t make the necessary personal time to include that someone else. Life is pretty different now in the sense that the career shares plenty of time with my personal life and it’s going to stay that way. I’m excited to find that partner in crime to share moments with that you just can’t have with anybody else.

Things I will never understand:
Why people always look at you when you sneeze, they have never heard a sneeze before?
If someone tries some type of food and says "This tastes terrible" why is the next thing they tell you "You gotta try it"?
Why the Government still issues pennies?
Why do we drive in a parkway and park in a driveway?
How any guy could spend more then 20 bucks on a haircut?
