My plan over the next few years is to visit different parts of the world and experience living in different cultures, not as a tourist but actually living in an area for one to three months at a time before returning to the U.S. The regions I plan on going to, not in any order, include: Asia (Thailand (Phuket) / Vietnam); Central America (Costa Rica / Panama /Belize); South America (Ecuador); Western Europe and who knows where else. What I will be looking for are areas and cultures which resonate with me with my ultimate goal being to have two or three getaway spots, besides the U.S. where I would spend my time throughout the year.
How can we start this adventure together? First let us determine if there is chemistry between us, develop a friendship, become traveling companions and let the rest happen. I know it may be hard for someone to spend two or three months at a time in a foreign country but that’s OK. No problem if they only want to spend a few weeks or a month and return to the US.
Well so much about what I plan to do. A little more about me I’m 67 and but most people take me for 10 or 15 years younger. Age is only what you make of it and when I look out through my eyes at the world I feel like I’m in my 30’s. Some people are old at 50 while others are young at 70 or 80. I fall into the latter category. Before I start my travels I’m planning on doing some updating of my house which will take a month or two.
