Date someone special from Studio City, United States. Hi there! I'm going to jump right in. I'm sure most profiles start out all sunshine and flowers, (don't get me wrong, I love both sunshine and flowers - Gerber Daisies are my favorite) but I think it's good to get right down to the important stuff. Recently I read an interview with a 93 year old woman who had been married for 75 years. She was asked, "What is the secret to a lasting relationship?" Without hesitation she replied, "You have to have the same basic moral values, period." I couldn't agree more. That being said, I know my profile may seem a bit hardcore, but some things are just non-negotiable. So if you can make it through to the end, you're probably going to be someone that I'd like to meet. Here goes... My ideal match would be someone who can go with the flow. I don't do well with someone telling me what to do or how to do it. They should have a great sense of humor and know how to take a joke as well as tell one. If you're a right wing Republican, it'll never work out. I think Sarah Palin is the devil. But you should know that one of my favorite blogs is by Andrew Sullivan @ The Daily Beast. He's a fiscally conservative Republican and I heart him. He makes a lot of sense, so I'm willing to listen even if I don't always agree. It'd be great if my match was flexible enought to hang at the occasional dive bar, as well as a celebrity function if called upon. Not that I go to them a lot, but occasionally they do pop up. Most importantly try to have a good time while we're there. Unless of course, it simply blows, then we're outta there. ;) He should love animals, his family and a good glass of wine. Oh, and if you're the least bit homophobic, forget it. I'm a fruit fly from way back. I have just as many gay friends as straight ones. Bonus points if you like Rod Stewart or are at least OK with my obsession with Rod the Bod, The Mod, The God Stewart.
I would love to meet a man who has a child / children. I love kids. I just never got around to having my own. If you don't, that's quite alright too. I'm great either way.
Finally, no offense, but men over 50 aren't my thing. I've tried, but it just doesn't work for me. Sorry.
