Date a woman from United States. I like to kayak and also make home made soaps and scrubs..shampoos and lotions. As far as dating...I would like to date someone available...wouldn't think id have to state that on a singles site but it has become apparent that I do. Ok, not that this will detour anyone.. but I just wanna say I think it's important that I specify I am into people/experiences.. and not "things" I value people over anything else. I'm very down to earth, wear little to no makeup, work hard and am adventurous. I love the outdoors and hanging with good people and love to laugh.
I'm just looking for a guy or friend who is a nice person inside and somewhat open. I'm not good with secretive people (at least secrets that I need to know otherwise be as secretive as you want) and not good with very judgmental people. I don't believe in laying heavy trips on someone either or using them as a means to an end.
One of my biggest pet peeves is someone who doesn't do what they say or say what they do. I would even just enjoy having coffee or camping or whatever as long as it's in the right company.. it's all good. But if you don't call when you say you are going to or show up or whatever.. then I don't waste my time. Unless there is a good reason. I am not that heavy duty but I do value common consideration.
One of the biggest questions I get asked is why I'm still single. Well.. my last relationship of 5 years put me back out here kind of off and on and now permanently since around October of 2011.. I didn't really date while I was raising my kids and so that was a long stretch of time.. I am also limited as to my time and where to meet available men. I don't like the bar scene. But since my kids were pretty much grown.. I have dated a lot and I just haven't found the right person. I'm not that awful picky either but I am in it for keeps so I don't want to end up with someone that is not compatible with me. Thanks for reading and hit me up if you think you wanna hang out.
