Yet, this is the difficult part: How to write about myself without a touch of bias??! Words such as, “kind, loyal, fun, drama free, educated, athletic yet elegant, independent yet warm and affectionate,” come to mind. But, in the end, I would rather chat with you over the phone and meet you in person. That way I/we could assess whether my/our words align with the real person....
Nonetheless, perhaps I will share a few of my passions with you, as this may give you some idea of who I am: my three adorable children and black Labrador, my work (I am a nutritionist and author and enjoy motivational speaking) sport (I was an international track runner but now enjoy skiing; both mountain and road biking, swimming, yoga, dancing, hiking etc etc- Basically, anything in the outdoors) I am also passionate about making space in my life to spend quality time with close friends: Nurturing my existing friendships are far more important to me than having a large group of friends. I also love to camp and I am currently heading out on a ten day road trip to Bend, Oregon and later on a three day white water rafting trip with my children- with bikes, camping gear, fishing poles and also cute sun dresses in tow: I enjoy sport and love the outdoors. Yet, also being "girly" and elegant. Is this a paradox?!!
Essentially, I also like “dressing up” in elegant clothing, wining and dining, the theatre, musicals, the ballet, taking leisurely sunset hikes in the mountains or along the beach and travelling Europe etc etc! I don’t live in biking attire or hiking shorts all day long, let’s say!
What I am looking for in a man? .....Hmmm... let's see: "Mature", meaning he knows what he wants and is decisive and determined in obtaining it. Content and comfortable with his achievements. Yet, committed to bettering himself ...And just as importantly, has a PLAYFUL and spontaneous side to him with a touch of innocuous mischievousness! Life is too long not to have fun!
