The main reason I came here is to be with the children in my extended family. They grew up with me, before their parents moved to SD. So I have come here to tweak their noses and otherwise tease them and tell them tall tales. As they get older, I have to get more sophisticated in making up plausible tales.
Now the problem we all face... how to summarize a life in a few words. I seek what we all seek: love, caring, concern, and sharing. In a word, intimacy.
What you would like to know is: What makes this man tick? What is he all about? Who is he?
First, character counts. I am honest and do not use people. I am as I seem. I am also effective, and get things done. I live my life with humor-humor is the lubricant that makes life flow smoothly. I like to play harmless practical jokes, and play with word meanings.
We are here for a certain length of time; I like to make it pleasant for myself and those around me. For example, when I worked in a prison clinic I brought in candies for the MTA’s and prison guards. A small gesture can have large meaning.
I am interested in philosophy and history, so I read a lot. This I balance with daily workouts. Since I am passionate about ballroom dancing, I integrate that into my exercise routines. Don’t worry if you have no interest in dance-I am not looking for a clone. I am also skilled in sailing and horseback riding. Being able to ride makes visiting national parks more fun, because you can usually tour on horseback. I no longer ski because accidents would limit my dancing. For many years I practiced T’ai Chi, and still have the benefits of the practice.
Physical description: I am 5’ 6” and weigh 170 lbs. Because I am muscular, height and weight are proportionate.
I speak French fluently, and lived in Paris in 1969. I return from time to time, and consider it my home away from home.

Date a soulmate from United States. After reading some of the profiles I realize how really bad I am at this. 2nd attempt.
First of all, that 'tag line' was an attempt at humour, weak, I now see that. In hindsight, the 'Changing the world, one mohito at a time'...sounded like a good idea at the time. OK...maybe not.
I'm really just '1/2 of a couple', basically an optimist and a pretty happy person. I consider myself to be lucky, fun and really enjoy life.
I want to meet the 'other half; a kind, witty, fun woman who's caring, likes travel, wine, a fireside friend to watch old and new movies with, who enjoys music,; rock, blues, jazz, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, the Gypsy Kings, sharing a life with, road trips, bad golf, grilling and all the other intimacies couples, real couples, enjoy...live for.
