Date a soulmate from Fullerton, United States. When I first filled in this section my comments were almost terse. Then I read some of the women’s entries and realized many were eloquent and interesting. So I thought I should do better. I want to sound winsome and appealing but I’m not sure how to do that. I think I’ll just give you a brief background so that you kind of know me. Some things have to be disclosed sooner or later, anyway, don't they?
When I was a boy of 21, I married a girl who was 20. That girl became a wonderful woman, wife, and mother. When I was 67 she died of cancer after having borne and nurtured three children, two girls and a boy, who are mature and successful adults living independently of me. We were faithful to each other. Being winsome and appealing to other women wasn’t something I worked on. But it has been over a year since she died and I’d now like to be, at least, a very good friend to a good woman.
I’m not sure I’m seeking marriage at this point, but I’d like a little romance with a pleasant person—even the ever-popular walks on the beach at sunset and a nice conversation at dinner. Maybe a drive to the mountains, or to the desert, or up the coast to find candles or wine for that dinner conversation.
I’ve not had to compete in this arena (this welcome, hopeful arena of Match.com) and I suppose what I’ve just said means some are not interested. If that’s the case you know how to click to the next profile without a thought. But if you’d like to know something I’ve left out, please ask and I’ll respond.
