Date someone special from Carlsbad, United States. Hi - I love being active and healthy, friends & family are really important to me. I am from the east coast and have lived in San Diego for almost 9 years. I really enjoy to Cook - was a french chef before finding my calling in the golf industry. I am very close to my Family, they live in vermont - so I love to go back and ski and play ice-hockey when I can. I am very goal oriented and have a severe passion for success in my job - I love what I do and I am fortunate to be able to say that. I would love to find someone that shares my similar drive in the workforce but is also looking for the other side which is someone to share these goals and dreams with, someone to have fun with and enjoy each day with. Thats all for now...Enjoy your day!!
Meet single man from Carlsbad, United States. I am laid back/easy going, very witty and can have a great time in just about any setting. I like to make others laugh and smile but also like to make myself laugh so a sense of humor is a must as well as intelligence. I can be serious when necessary but most of the time I am just out to have a good time. I am honest, thoughtful, very respectful and a gentlemen. This is how I was raised. I treat everyone how I want to be treated even if sometimes they don't deserve it. Oh yeah, ladies... Chivalry is not dead.
I am looking for someone that is laid back and can just enjoy a lazy day, but also be spontaneous and go wild.
I am originally from the east coast. Sports were a huge part of my life growing up and the main reason I went on to attend college. After having my share of fun during college I worked for a little in an office setting and hated it. I decided to find a new line of work which is how I got to be out here in lovely southern California. I have yet to take full advantage of this great area, I am always down to have fun and need a partner in crime (we will stay out of jail, I promise).
Date a man from Carlsbad, United States. I'm an easy going guy who Is looking for someone to enjoy life with. I'm very loyal and want someone who shares my view on the importance of friends and family. I love the outdoors, and live a very active lifestyle. I really enjoy my job which to me is so important. I want to find someone who is always making me want to be a better person.
Meet a soulmate from Carlsbad, United States. I would love to spend more time learning with someone who cares as much as I do about living life to the fullest. I'm looking for someone to share my life with and always willing to change to make my lady happy. Since I spend most my time working these days I need someone who has just as much to do as I do. I work for Celebrity Talent International organizing fundraising events and handling all the technology involved. People often tell me that I'm a renaissance man due to my knowledge of so many different disciplines. I would love to find someone who has the same passion for knowledge as I do. I follow many different sciences and art types so being able to share with my girlfriend would make me happy. When I say art, not talking about digital photography, thats about as impressive as saying I know how to use a computer. By art I mean glass blowing and mixed media sculpture. And by science I mean quantum physics and neurology. Having fun is important, however sacrificing time to just hang out isn't my style. For fun I race BMWs, hike, create art, bike, swim, sing, write, dream and love to make people laugh. To me there is nothing more rewarding than learning something new. I'm ready for the next stage of my life since am turning 30 in July, I want to find a relationship where we complement each other.
Date someone special from California, United States. Okay, I know that you’re going to check out my pictures before you read my profile. No worries. I’ll wait…
… Are you back? Okay, good. I hope I didn’t scare away any Ravens fans with all those Steelers pics. I’m open minded, I swear :)
I’m brand new to California- this past March, I got an offer from a pharmaceutical company for a great job in drug discovery, so I jumped in a U-Haul, leaked oil all the way from Philadelphia to Carsbad, and now I get to watch the sunset on the beach every night, then let the sound of the waves lull me to sleep. Call me a traitor, but I’ll take that over cheesesteaks any day.
The job is everything I thought it would be and more. I work in the severe genetic disease division (which is all of three people) and I couldn’t be happier. Every day, we inch closer and closer to a treatment for people, mostly kids, in desperate need- it’s amazingly fulfilling, consistently challenging, and more than a little bit exciting.
There’s more to me than just my job, though. Somewhere on the way to where I am today, I picked up a serious exercise habit. I’m not a fanatic or anything, but still, whether it’s distance running, or Crossfit, or weights… There’s nothing like the exhilaration of pushing yourself just a little bit further. It’s knowing that today you’ll be going a little faster, or further, or jumping higher, or moving more weight. It’s knowing that you have the mental toughness you need to keep going, even when every basic instinct you have is telling you to stop. It’s just you and your breath and your pulse lost in a perfect storm of adrenaline and endorphins. And don’t forget about yoga (yeah, I was an amateur yogi even back in Philly. It was one of the ways that I knew SoCal and I were meant for each other). Is there a better feeling than lying back in shavasana, muscles tired, joints loose, mind clear… Aaaaaahhhh, I got a shot of relaxation just thinking about it.
Anyway, I hope I didn’t lose you there- don’t worry, you don’t have to be a workoutaholic or anything, but if you’re the kind of girl who wouldn’t mind meeting me for a kayaking tour, or pretend not to mind if I subtly slide a gym bag under my seat at the wine bar, I think we’ll get along just fine.
Oh, and have I mentioned that I have a foodie streak, too? My inner athlete is always trying to work out the perfect balance with my inner foodie / beer and wine geek. I’ll never turn down dinner at a hot new restaurant, and I won’t rest until I find the absolute best mom-and-pop Mexican place in the city. But then I go home, and I’m fascinated with trying to make things myself. When I experiment, I like to go as exotic as possible- This week, I made Thai grilled chicken with a sticky mango and coconut milk glaze. Next week, I’m thinking Korean barbeque… Kalbi, maybe?
So, you:
Are you fun? Outgoing? Active? Does the idea of surfing lessons or getting scuba certified sound like fun? How about horseback winery tours and tastings?
Yeah?
Then we need to talk.
I like a woman who has a brain and isn’t afraid to use it. Intellectual conversations are a huge turn on for me. Confidence, sarcasm, and a great sense of humor will earn you bonus points like nobody’s business. And it would be really, really nice if you understood how important trust and open communication are in a relationship. But in the end, it’s all about chemistry, right? God knows it’s happened to me- you sit down next to some random person, you start a conservation, then something clicks. Before you know it, you’re laughing like idiots, conspiring like old friends, and maybe a little bit head-over-heals. You’ll never know unless you try. So come on, take a chance, send me a message. Tell me something fun about yourself that’s not in your profile. Show me that there’s something attractive about you besides your looks. Give me profile feedback. Correct my spelling errors. Just say, “hi.” I’ll write back, I promise :)

COOKING!
Passions:
Cooking - Allowing others to enjoy my food creations and family recipes are important to me. Sharing my joy of cooking is something I do at any chance possible.
Technology - Our world is run by technology, but figuring a way around the rules put on the public's use of technology is an active interest of mine.
Camping/Hiking - I am constantly outside and enjoying the amazing SoCal weather.
Traveling - I have been all over the US and Canada...I will travel the world!!! Are you able to keep up?
Music - Pretty much everything...
I need someone who is on the same page as myself. Attractiveness is important but that is not restricted to physical attractiveness. Intelligence and character is just as important and there must be a connection on these levels as well as physicality. This profile only gives a perspective into the life I live, details should be worked out in person. Lets chat, possibly meet up, and get to know each other and see if we can connect on a different level.
Date a man from California, United States. After a few disappointing experiences I think it’s time to update this thing…
So, a bit about me: I am a native San Diegan who is looking to take my search for a great relationship outside of my usual social circle. I spend 45-55 hours per week talking with people about investments and natural resources (mining, oil & gas, alternative energy, agriculture, etc.). Most of my time outside of work consists of exercising and hanging out with friends. I also periodically volunteer for an organization that teaches self-defense to victims of physical and/or sexual violence. I enjoy reading about economics, philosophy, and global current events. I’ve been accused by friends of being an “over-thinker” (Really? Is that even possible?). My friends and family have aided me in developing an eclectic taste in music, ranging from classical to 70’s and 80’s rock to ridiculous hip hop (raunchy lyrics always draw me in). My cooking skills have just recently graduated from “Adequate User of the Microwave” to “Sub-par on the BBQ”, but I am determined to be a proficient cook one day.
What I’m looking for: Someone who is independent and has the self-esteem to pursue their own values, interests, and hobbies but still enjoys introducing me to their world. Honesty and integrity are a must but a blushing smile and kind eyes seals the deal.
Don’t be shy to send me a message if I spark your interest or if you would like to know more about me. Happy hunting.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. My friends would describe me as a kind and giving person but complex. I enjoy making people laugh. I'm thankful for my family and friends for I would not be here today without their love and support. I am looking for someone who is gentle and kind, with a good sense of humor. In a relationship the most important thing to me is honesty and communication. I'm passionate about living life to its fullest because it's too short not to, I don't want to wake up one day to find it has passed me by.

Meet single man from United States. I'm new to the area, moved from Kansas City the first week of February to take a job and have a little adventure. The San Diego area has always been one of my favorites so I figured why not live here.
I'm just trying to meet people and see what happens. My social circle is somewhat small at the moment being the new guy in town.
