Meet someone special from Auberry, United States. Semi retired, still working on the mountain in project management when needed, living the country life, love sailing or just being on the boat, have traveled to sail Caribbean, Mexico, Washington and the California coast. Have had many successful trips as the bare boat skipper with friends for crew.
Sailing home port is Huntington Lake, Ca (7,000 ft). Sailing is more a state of mind, you the water and the wind, teaches respect for nature and develops skills to adapt and overcome. Sometimes characterized as " hours of boredom followed by seconds of terror, followed by hours of boredom"
Love mountains and trees, lived and worked in a small community for 30 years at 5000 feet. Mostly quite, former casual musician, who likes almost all music...shade tree mechanic, maintain yard, house and five acres in the foot hills. Still know how to have fun and a good time, but happy just watching the birds fly and the grass grow.
Italian food is one of my favorites , especially home cooked. Grew up in the central valley near Fresno and learned to love many different ethnic foods. After my visits to Japan in the 1960's I have acquired a taste for Sushi.
