I am easy going but very technical. I am a painter, and a home repairman of every kind. I could build my own house. Oops. Think humble. Think humble. I've driven Buses and Semi's, Armored trucks, motorcycles, home made go carts, horses, (well rode) a back-asswords one,boats and anything that moves. Almost I have been to the mountain top. Well half dome. lol I'm very diversed. Most of my photos actually are recent. Gee what a concept. If we met, you'd recognize me right away. I've met several women who don't look like their picture. What's up with that? Yes I usually sport the goatee "oh damn" but usually keep it short and trim. Over 40? Shorten the hair. That's not just me. 90% of men think the same. My friends say I look 40. 30 if I leave 2 hairs. I desire younger (looking) women. Don't pass out on me now. I'm not allergic to cleaning of any kind. If you make lots of money, more power to ya but don't expect the same from your man or you're in it for the WRONG reasons. I am good hearted, faithful, loving and affectionate. I love our Country. I am a proud American, strong Conservative and supporter of our troops. God bless them for their sacrifices. I believe in God, love the Lord and attend non-denominational churches now and than. I am also sweet, funny, goofy, loyal and supportive. I'm also spontaneous. I love weekend trips to the Mntns. or coast. I'm very family oriented because I am one of six sons. Did you catch that? I have 2 grown kids. A son in Med school and a daughter in the Navy. Both married. I love them so much. They are my greatest accomplishments. I would love to explore Alaska. I have an interesting link to the state. Tell you later. I'm a lover of nature and a lover-boy. Hence the dopey name title. I love the beach but the mountains are my favorite. I'm not a skier, but love the snow. I also like four wheeling, fishing, camping, hiking, walking, holding hands, cuddling, lakes, beach's, thunder storms, campfires, wood stoves, bike riding, motorcycles, boats, good beer, BBQ's wine tasting, photography, old houses, and log cabins. Don't let my age fool you. I am very young at heart. I could have lied about my age like some people and put 44 but I'm truthful. I prefer somewhat petite women and younger than me. Sorry, so do ya'll. Well except those that are Well never mind. Things I love...
I love the sound of “wild music of waves on the shore and the spiral perfection of a hawk when it soars”, I love cool crisp mountain air, wind in my face, the sound of a steady rain, the sound of crashing waves, and the smell of wildflowers. I love visiting the Getty Museum, Renaissance Fairs, and sitting at an outdoor cafe in the morning or the evening. I love attending outdoor concerts in the summer and springtime, and the passion and roar of thousands of rabid fans at a U2 concert….I love nature. I love taking pictures of wildflowers, marmots, bears, waterfalls, mountains, and the solitary landscape of the desert. I love to ride my bike in Yosemite National Park and the California coast… and … when there is a big snowstorm, I love to strap on my snowshoes and see Mother Nature’s splendid display up close and personal...but…most of all, I love people. I love my sons, I love spending time with people. I love a good “intelligent” conversation about life, politics, religion, and what makes people tick and do what they do. I love watching people and hearing the laughter of others…and…while, I don’t like to see people cry I do try to empathize, comfort, and accept people when they do. Finally, I love to both give and receive both physical and verbal affection. It is very important to me.
What brings me joy....
Watching my sons develop a passion for life and mature as young men physically and emotionally brings me joy…Decorating my house during the Christmas Holiday season while listening to the Cambridge Singers brings me joy…Interacting with my students and seeing in their faces and body language that they are motivated and interested brings me joy…Hearing stories about people who society has underestimated or given up on accomplish great things brings me joy…Watching people who are afraid yet show great courage by taking action despite their fear brings me joy…Spending time and sharing the beauty of nature with friends, family, or someone I love brings me joy…Seeing people who have significant religious or political differences act respectfully and civil towards each other brings me joy… and… gives me hope in the human race…Reading a book that challenges and inspires me to become a better person and the person I am meant to be brings me joy…Eating a meal and just spending time with friends brings me joy…Hugging others and being hugged brings me joy…Listening to Irish and Celtic music brings me joy…watching a film that touches my emotions and soul brings me joy…Receiving and sharing words of encouragement with others brings me joy… Sharing and receiving verbal affection from another brings me joy…gentle touches and kisses bring me joy....and....weaving a tapestry of love together in all its various aspects over time with someone brings me joy …All this and more bring me joy.
