I work with tree crops, so I travel up and down the valley quite often. Which frequently takes me all the way to Chico. Thus there is the likelihood we might have an opportunity to meet some time.
My future looks good. I have 3 secure financial resources to draw upon including business income. Both my house and workplace are paid off. Hence, no mortgage payments. (YEA!) My interest is - and always has been - my accomplishments in research and “product” development. I’ve been at it for 35 years, and brought my profession from witchcraft, rumor and hearsay, to sound science. Unfortunately, educating agriculturists is a humongous challenge that I am unprepared for. I was trained in horticulture (PhD) and botany (MSc), not business management or education.
Finally, simple pleasures are everyday necessities for me: dinning out, shopping, working in my yard, pampering a woman, and sometimes visiting interesting coastal sites and towns. But here is the hitch: none is fun or rewarding without a friend. Obviously, I too am looking for a commitment, companionship, and intimacy. That’s why I joined a dating site. For nearly 4 years I have been searching, but to no avail. Like the song says, I must have been “…looking in all the wrong places.”
