I'm looking for someone who enjoys great conversation about politics, art, books. Someone who loves sushi. Someone a bit quirky. Someone really cute. I wish I could give you more details on this but, quite often I surprise myself with what does it for me.

Meet someone special from United States. I grew up as a fisherman in South Louisiana, but didn’t eat fish until I was in my 20’s. And, even though I worked on boats most of my life, I swim like a rock. I do have Southern charm though (maybe you’ll let me prove it?), as well as a Cajun accent that comes out when I drink.

Also true to my roots, I love to cook seafood. In fact, I return to Buras every year (and have for the past three) to enter a cooking contest with my best friends. Our crawfish is a big hit. have been in the top 15 of 100 the other three times.

I like to set outlandish goals for myself. By day, I’m a Finance Director (yeah, I can see your eyes roll). By night, I’m a crossfit trainer. I once led a group of 26 inexperienced people through Tough Mudder, a hardcore adventure race (still rolling your eyes?).

I’m an avid reader too and often read two books at a time - at least. In addition, I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I was born in a hut during the Vietnam War. What about you?

A few final details: I love raw pineapple, but won’t touch it if it’s cooked (seriously, I won’t even pick it off my plate). I love music, but can’t keep a beat. I also have a one-eyed, blind basset hound called Snuf.

I like to take things slow and get to know someone first. From my past relationships, the most successful ones have been when building a strong friendship that turned into something more. I believe that your soul mate should also be your best friend!

As for more info about me, I would say that I am a very direct/honest person. I don't believe in holding anything back and will express my feelings and views at most times. I am also a very passionate. Most like from my French side. And from my Asian side, I think it's my great photography skills ;) As for my height, don't know where that came from? My friends like to say the Milkman maybe ;) As you can probably tell by now, I'm also very sarcastic. Hey if I can give it out, I have to be able to take it as well ;) I believe that one should be able to laugh at oneself ;)
I am very spontaneous and love to try new things. Love to travel and if someone said, hey lets go to Bora Bora next month I would do it for sure! So finding a partner that likes to travel and try new things is a must.
But I am also set in my ways and very happy in my current lifestyle. I would say Work Hard/Play Hard somewhat applies. The Party Hard is more like Party without the hard ;) But don't get me wrong, if there is a special occasion I will show off my dancing moves ;) Don't worry I don't dance like Elaine from Sienfeld! ;)

Date a man from San Francisco, United States. Okay, a little about me.....I’m originally from London and transferred with my company to help set-up a West Coast operation in San Francisco back in May '04. This keeps me on my toes as the role I have takes me all around the US and Canada.
I'm passionate about the environment, current affairs, history, music (especially live), being healthy, meeting new people, travelling, learning new cultures, and just enjoying life! Oh and Indian food, hmm, hmm!
Christmas before last, I embarked on a trip around China and Thailand, which was brilliant. Spent 2.5 months in India late last year, too. Next place on the hit list is Peru and Brasil. I guess I inherited the traveling bug from my parents who moved me to far flung places such as South Africa, Kenya and Australia in my younger years. From these experiences/adventures I have become very inquisitive, perhaps too much for my own sanity sometimes.
My humor is sarcastic (but I'm well-practiced, so I know when to turn it off) and I can’t beat a good witty conversation. I consider myself open minded and believe in good karma.
