Date someone special from California, United States. Do you find yourself excited about the greatest adventure just around the corner? Every amazing biography has it's most thrilling chapters and I sense them coming up. Do you?
Recently my mood feels a little like that Wizard of Oz movie. Sure, the early chapters help define some characters but everything is still in black and white. We both have seen that flick a hundred times. I bet your heart still gets excited when Dorothy lands from the twister. She is a bit dazed from the fall but as she gets her bearings the screen fills with amazing technicolor. That's the kind of optimism I have about this dating thing. People here have to get through the black and white part of their biography somehow. Maybe that's where you are at. But when it's right...that glorious color pops into view and the most interesting and eye-popping parts of the story can be enjoyed over and over again.

PS. My medical career has some flexibility to it. I work for 2 hospitals in the South bay so I can save up for a future family and/or enjoy a very early retirement with them. My career doesn't own me or anything, I just love what I do and have a spendthrift view while planning for our future.
I have a sense of romance, so am open to the idea of finding the right person no matter where she lives. That said, I am not interested in forming only a long distance relationship. If we live far apart from each other, please only consider our "Possibility" if you intend to live here soon, or me there soon, or us someplace else soon. Don't entertain the idea of distance as fantasy without thinking of the effort to make it reality please.
Meet a man from California, United States. In the photos, I am the middle one in the panel, speaking, and also the one making the presentation in the other photo.
My hobbies are very extensive and diverse. I used to be an instructor of both ballroom dance and yoga, so if you are into either, I'm definitely your guy. I have also taken up culinary arts, and have become adept at inventing fusion cuisines. I also run a charity that works on advanced technologies for the very poorest people in the world.
So yes, I might just be 'The Most Interesting Man in the Match World'...
At the same time, I find a lot of contentment with the simple things in life, such as meeting over coffee, reading some of my favorite books, and hiking. I am a very low maintenence guy in this regard.
I am different from most men in that I am not intimidated/repelled by a successful woman. I would love to be consistently impressed by the woman I am with. This also means that I am not swayed by just a pretty face alone.
I am a perpetual optimist. I also tend to remember the good parts of all the past chapters of my life, while the bad memories dwindle away. I would probably click the best with someone else who also retains positive memories more than negative ones.
I think the most solid relationships are ones where two people never run out of things to talk about. But even before that, I think the very basic ingredients of a successful relationship are courtesy, respect, and trust. Once you have these, most other things can fall into place. If a relationship lacks these things, it isn't worthwhile.
If you feel that you are someone who I might like to know, please send me a thoughtful email :)

Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Me:
artistic, playful, charming, funny, sensitive, self-aware, communicative, romantic and thoughtful successful hard worker.
After a lot of hard work I'm now in a wonderful spot in my life I'm looking to fill my life with fun, love and romance.
Here are some random thoughts as they come to me, in no particular order of importance:
My thoughts on love:
Kinky, not dirty, passionate and light
I clean up nice and dress up for work, but prefer jeans and a nice black t-shirt.
I LOVE cats, but would take a dog over a cat any day.
Prefer Zumba to Meat-market Club dancing
Where we go out for dinner should be spontaneous, but what time you will be over at my house shouldn't be.
More of a planner than a flake
More of a work-a-holic than a bum,
I have a hard time with the justification "because it's tradition" or "because that's how I was raised". I believe it's an explanation of the past, not a justification for the future.
Love plants and spend a lot of time in my backyard.
Would have a farm too if I had enough money to pay people to do the hard work for me
Prefer 20 good movies to wading through one good book (I know it's terrible but reading takes soooo much time :(
1. Southpark, 2. Simpsons, 3. Family Guy.....76. Futurama
Haven't been to McDonalds, Burger King, Carl's Junior or any of those places in over 10 years at least.
Prefer tea to soda (actually had about 2 sodas in the past decade)
LOVE COFFEEEEEEEE
Have experienced enough of the wild lifestyle to know what it's about and why I am happy to have left it behind years ago.
mature, professional, sensitive---but very silly, playful and witty
If I could only take one artist's music to a desert island it would be Bob Marley
Paula Deen---Yuck!
Barefoot Contessa---Mmmmm!
I'm a great cook and a lousy baker (except my banana bread :)
Total Sweet Tooth---and lover of CHEEEESE!
Places I've lived for least a year:
Hollywood, Westwood, Brentwood, Washington D.C., Chico, Madrid Spain
I'm honest to a fault.
I prefer insightful perceptive wit to dry insulting sarcasm.
Stores you may meet me in:
REI, Chipotle, Barefoot Coffee, Whole Foods, Barnes and Noble, Guitar Showcase, Trader Joes, Nordstrom Rack, Petfood Express...
I don't care at all about cars and what you drive is not important---unless it's a motorcycle cause that is too reckless for me*
*My motto:
live like you could die tomorrow, not like you WANT to.
the words "organic, free-trade, cage-free, grass-fed, 0 footprint" are important to me.
Simply said, you should be:
someone who "likes a me like I like a you so we like a both the same". (Steve Martin- "the man with two brains").
---Honestly, I'm looking for someone who can be Silly, Passionate, Adventurous and Cuddly.
OK, to be absolutely honest ;)
I want what everyone wants:
someone who is better looking, smarter, richer, in better shape, with a higher education, funnier and who has nicer stuff than me. hahahaha. Kidding, sort of. LOL.
